    minced beef calories?

100g raw has 250 calories, and i cooked 200g minced beef

    so 500 calories?

but after I cook out, i drain out all the fat oil and stuff, so shouldn't it be lower?

    Thanks

If you drained the fat, the total caloric value of the food will be reduced. The amount of that reduction is dependent on how many grams of fat where drained and can't be determined from the information you provided.

If you want to get a (relatively) precise estimate, you'd need to weigh the drained fat and reduce the total caloric value of the meat by 9 calories per gram of drained fat.

    Attaboy!

But yeah, measuring what you drained is the only way to determine a better approximation. Of course, the longer you cook the meat, the more water cooks off (conversion of water in meat to steam during cooking process). So this will also change the end weight.

This is one of the reasons people don't advice bulking with a small surplus (100-200 calories) because people tend to overshoot their calorie numbers and will end up just being at maintenance sometimes.

    But I digest...
Short term Goal: To cut back before bulking like a demon.
Mid term Goal: To find myself.
Long term Goal: To get what's mine.

67 lbs in 9 years and still counting... (started at 100lbs)

It's a hater's job to hate. So let them hate...
