Well... there's a Melodic Death Metal thread, I also listen to a fair bit of the more brutal stuff. Bands like:
Devourment
Disgorge
Deeds of Flesh
Gorguts
Gorgasm
Vomit Remnants
Exhumed
and a few more....

Entombed? im still trying to figure this sub-genre stuff out..
If what I see does not amaze me, I am not looking hard enough.
The more you learn, the more you realize you don't know.

haha Entombed wouldn't be brutal mate
look, head over to metal-archives, that is the best metal site on the web, it will tell you ALL you need
I think Rocky Maivia or Tim would be able to get into the ins-and-outs of each genre ... but yeah...
Entombed is awesome, so i'll give you reps for that hahahTrain by day, Joe Rogan podcast by night

I'm not all that into brutal death metal in general (I prefer regular dm), as the modern Unique Leader Cali-style bdm tends to get old quick for me. However, there is a whole slew of brutal death metal bands worth listening to. I'll add:
Mortal Decay
Aborted
Bleeding Display
Abysmal Torment
Abaddon Incarnate
Corpse****ing Art
Undertakers
Despondency
Natron
Man Must Die (you can almost call this brutal melodeath)
Dehumanized
Entorturement
Wasteform
Malignancy
Hour of Penancy (sounds like Nile without the Middle Eastern scale)
Coercion
Regorge
Infester
Prostitue Disfigurement
Banished
Morpheus Descends
Reincarnation
Wormed
and some more

Brutal Death metal = Death Metal + grindcore influence
there are death metal bands that are brutal but don't fall in that genre because they don't have that influence (behemoth, gorguts, cannibal corpse, etc...)
I don't listen to much BDM
Necro****ist (brutal tech DM)
Decapitated (earlier stuff - brutal tech DM)
Deeds of Flesh
Suffocation
