Protein = whole source and not broken down IMO. PeptoPro is really a peptide supplement....it's not far away from being straight amino acids...so if we go by FDA standards maybe you could define peptides are protein but I think they are in a class of their own...

Cleanest protein i would say is a whey isolate...

is fat clean? I just figured he meant clean as in just protein w/o fat and lactose etc...whole protein that's clean is my interpretation...I was going to say Dymatize ISO 100 is a clean protein but it's hydrowhey so not a full protein...it's hydrolyzed...still protein and i get it hence my explanation...so went w/a whey isolate...am i wrong?

Whey, egg, etc are all proteins that are intact. You won't notice a body composition difference between the various forms (inb4 250g soy protein/day).

Any product that is 100% Whey Protein Isolate would probably be as "clean" as it gets.

If you're sponsored ny iForce, doesn't it make sense to use/promote their Protean? I personally haven't tried it but I'm on an iForce kick right now and am addicted to their products (along with Controlled Labs).

i would assume the OP meant clean in terms of the fewest number of additives (like thickeners and emulsifiers, sweeteners, flavouring agents, gums, etc) to the actual source of protein (whether iso, conc, casein, egg, etc)...at least that's what id mean...

in that case go with an unflavored isolate...but artificial sweetners aren't harmful b/c they are not digested...also, healthy fats are important to your diet...that's why I enjoy Intrapro by Gaspari...100% whey isolate with great flavor...cleanest tasting vanilla protein I have ever had...also, they include free form amino acids...it makes sense...also taurine is included to make the profile more complete....whey protein leaves out this important amino acid...so naturally Gaspari Nutrition includes it in their formula..also healthy fats are included as well...
