Exclamation Shiny reddish/pink spots on in my canned Tuna...

Hey guys. Quick question. I eat Starkist Solid White Albacore Tuna in water (name on the container). It's canned tuna. However, I recently have noticed that the last 4-5 cans have had reddish/pink discoloration on top of the tuna inside the can. A co-worker told me that means that the tuna has gone bad. Is this the case? Thanks!

EDIT: It's shiny looking like mercury, but I'm not sure.

That's probably the only good thing about it; it's cheap. But I've already trashed like 5 or 6 cans.

Oh ok, but it's reddish/pink and it's shiny? Are they still scales?
