Personally, I'm against gay marriages and gay people in general. 10 years ago it was okay for people to state their opinion. If you didn't approve of gay marriages you could state your opinion freely, but today you can't even state your own f*cken opinion. Just look at Mrs. California, everyone was against her for saying what she believed in. I personally believe its wrong for two men to be together. Why is gay marriages okay, but not marrying your cat, your car, etc? Unless two men can naturally produce a child, I see no reason two men should be together. People can do anything what they want to do, but doesn't mean they can break the law of nature. Men for women, not for men or for animals. It goes against the human nature.All these movies Brokeback Mountain, Milk, etc are one of the reasons why gay people are being accepted in today's society.

Agreed. The argument that gay is acceptable is because they're born that way and they had no choice. But this isn't a valid argument at all. Marriage provides numerous benefits to couples such as tax breaks, medical benefits, law benefits.

A gay couple could be together for 25 years. One of them is involved in a serious car accident, their partner cannot come visit them in the hospital because theyre "not immediate family members"

They dont allow marriage between people and animals/inanimate objects because it creates too many problems with the legal system. Same reason they do not allow polygamy.

When two men or two women marry and one of them dies, okay its pretty cut and dry who gets the estate. It goes to their partner.

A woman marries 4 men. She dies. Who gets the house? Who gets personal effects? Where does she become buried because all 4 are arguing over where she can or cannot.

In reality there is no legal reason why gays shouldnt be allowed to marry. Its equal rights for all. You cannot use religion in the argument and you cannot use the "its nature" argument either. There are many straight couples that dont have kids or adopt yet theyre allowed to be married.
