    Protein before workout...

I've looked around but haven't found anything on this but, does drinking protein powder before training/lifting help out? Or is this just a placeboo00o0o0o0o, or myth?

This^. Some believe that it "fuels" your muscles as they workout..I personally do not buy into this. With that being said if you do enjoy drinking a shake intra workout id recommend whey w/ powdered oatmeal or Purple Wraath from Controlled labs. Hope this helps!

True, I do take atomic 7 intra workout (1 1/2 scoop = 500ml water), as most of my workouts are morning, when I can only grab a banana pre..

Agreed, i need at LEAST 2 meals in me before workout..

However i do take a protein shake an hour before i workout, skim milk, whey and oats then my preworkout (usually Jack3d or neurocore) around 15mins before training and this suits me fine i don't feel as 'empty' when training my muscles still feel quite full from the shake.. but try some out bro see what you feels best

I usually chow down on some oats + protein + fruits before bed, maybe that's why I dont feel so sluggish in the morning..

I usually work out fasted, but if I have time for a shake/breakfast before a workout, with at least an hour-two before I slam my PWO, then I'll do it. Proats or a shake with glycemyx. I don't like working out on a non-empty stomach though, especially not liquid.

Not necessary RIGHT before but u should eat a solid meal 60-90 mins before your workout.

During week I lift at 5 so I get up at 430 and pound a banana, oats and whey and I'm not too full to workout hard.

Not all "workouts" are equal. You can no more generalize what to do before a "workout" than anything else. That said, NSCA studies showed that 20 grams of whey within an hour before intense resistance training provided positive results. If your "workout" is like most gym goers, it's probably not vital. But if you plan to train heavy and long, protein ingested before training can help. Just like carbs, proteins can be easier or harder to digest. A quicker digesting protein should be taken within an hour before, but a slower, less "bio-available" protein or whole food source should be ingested with at least a few hours to digest before training intensely.

    I'm lactose-intolerant, so I typically don't use any proteins pre-workout. If I do, I make sure to get a lactose-free brand.
Currently using Gaspari MyoFusion Probiotic Series

Training areas of emphasis: symmetry (strength and size), biceps
