Too bad my grip sucks otherwise my dead lift would be higher. But yea, my DL is better than my squat as well.

well, on squat you use legs mainly. on deadlift its arms, legs, and an assload of other muscles...so your going to do more than squat because you are using more body parts

Mine is less than my squat. Not by much but I think I can handle more than I have for my one rep max. It's almost baseball season so I had to back down on the weight I use so I don't get injuries.

I'm on the other end of the scale. My squat is 440lbs and my deadlift is 330lbs. My legs have always been very strong...

Thats because squat suits dramatically increase the ammount of weight you can squat whereas deadlift suits offer hardly any extra poundage.
Generally talking, on raw lifts, it goes deadlift>squat>bench. But the effectiveness of squat suits and bench shirts mean that the world records look like this squat>bench>deadlift.
I myself have a 140kg squat(pl) and a 185kg deadlift for a double.Last edited by Febs; 01-17-2007 at 11:42 PM.
