    Can You Take Too Much BCAAs?

    so in my optimum whey there is 4grams and in xtend there are 10 grams bcaa and im thinking about taking mstak which has 3 grams bcaa.

    is 17 grams of BCAAs to much?
    is there even anything such as too much bcaas?

    I haven't studied or looked this up, but I am almost positive you can't overdose on BCAA's. You can't overdose on protein, right? Eating too much protein won't kill you, and protein has BCAA's, so I do not see how taking a lot of straight BCAA's is bad.

    Overrated Megadose of BCAA's around here. You don't need that much if youre diet is ok, since BCAA's comes from food too.

    im not intentionally taking a lot of bcaa's its just the supplements i take contain bcaa's in it so i just wanted to make sure that its not going to be harmful

    Most of your protein (steak, eggs, etc...) contains the BCAAs as intact aminos. Your FREE FORM intake is fine most likely

    But yes, you can take too much FREE FORM. If you have depression symptoms or anxiety disorder, overloading BCAA's may worsen the condition due to their competition with other compounds in crossing the BBB and through other mechanisms.
