Need cheap ways to gain weight

Okay when I first started to work out I was 6'0 about 140 lbs. Noob gains got me at 165 lbs about a year ago. Then I started to stay the same weight. I was at 169-172 for about 10 months. I've lost 9 lbs in 2-3 weeks because I can't afford to eat. I also got laid off the other day, so basically Im living on PB sandwiches and processed foods. I also can't cook anything at all, I'm terrible at making whole meals.

    Serious help please.

    1) Get more cash (new job).
    2) Learn to cook (it's easy).
    3) Buy lots of tuna, natural peanut butter, oats, etc. They are relatively cheap.

    Oatmeal + whole milk
    Eggs
    PB + banana sandwiches
    Rice
    Pasta

If you don't gain weight with that, you can replace the peanut butter with nutella :P

If you can't afford to eat, that's a bigger problem than gaining weight brah.

Get on food stamps, hit the food banks, etc. I'm assuming you live on your own.

Nah I still live on home, but both parents are on disability and can't work.

I'm going to try and cut out cardio. I've also have a problem with appetite the last week or so, but that's probably cause I eat soo many sandwiches.

Does anyone have experience with pills to slow down metabolism?

    Oats, PB, eggs and milk
    All are absolutely dirt cheap.
12 eggs = 900 calories, 84g protein for 1dollar (prices are listed for the store I shop at)
    3c oats= 900 calories, 30g protein (cost <1dollar)
    4c milk= 600calories, 32g protein (75cents)
    8tbsp PB= 750calories, 32g protein (.75cents)
thats over 3150 calories and almost 150g protein for less than 3.50

I find whey is actually the cheapest protein source per $ (if you are buying bulk and the right brand)-->about 60g per $
followed by chicen -->96 grams in 1lb for $1.99-->48g per dollar
then tuna 1 can 25g for $.70-->33g per dollar

of course eggs 84g per dozen for 1 dollar but obviously consuming way more calories to get the protein

I do tend to eat chicken a lot already.

Other quick question, since I've lost weight this fast would it mostly be muscle, fat or just water weight? I can't really notice any differences.
