Day 16.....
I hate leg day, I love leg day. Yup, I'm bipolar! Tuesdays and Thursdays I dread going to the gym. Once I get there and do a few warm-ups though, I'm loving it! Took 2 pills right after dinner, about 90mins pre-workout. Lets get to today's sets:

Today I was in my own little world. My gym partner always has an excuse come leg day, which is good and bad at times. I could use the motivational push, but I don't like distractions. Tonight I kept my sweatshirt on with the hood up and I was so focused on my workout. Nothing seemed to distract me. I worked a bit more methodically tonight than usual. Everything was slow, good form, and I concentrated on muscle contractions. It was a different type of burn. I'm sure I'll dread the DOMS tomorrow and Thursday! Overall I am really happy with today's workout. I have noticed a bit of acne on my forehead and shoulders the past few days, not sure if related to the APE or not. Tomorrow is light cardio/rest, but will still take my single pill for the day.

Well, I did much better than I thought I would. Was able to stay at 120 on the shoulder press and do the reps comfortably. If I had my spotter I may have gone for 125. They gym was pretty empty and none of the regulars I trust for a spot were around. I did hit a PB of 70x10 with the DumbBell incline presses. I usually struggle to "kick" the dumbbells up into place, but the 70s went up nice and easy. Now I need to hit those for 12 reps before I up the weight again.
I took the usual 2 pills, about 2 hours pre-workout. I have noticed that I am feeling a lot more confident lately, which is huge for me as I am usually pretty timid. Really enjoying APE! Legs tonight.....

Was in a rush to get to the gym since I got out of work early. I wanted to beat the Friday night crowds. I took my 2 pills right as I headed out the door. The workout was pretty solid. My elbow was bothering me on the deads, so I cut it one set short. I need to rest it some more before the injury gets worse. I am happy with everything else though. Tomorrow will be a rest day and Sunday will be my cardio day.
Macros are good so far for the day. I should finish right around 1900 calls or so. Protein around 170g, carbs about 150g and fats around 65g. That's if I don't wander off my planned meals

Day 21. Start of week 4
After a long weekend, it was back to the gym. Did a bit of cardio yesterday, but that got cut short due to the ice storm that was rolling in. Tonight I was rushed again. I just finished making dinner and my buddy had to go "now" to the gym (the joys of working around family schedules). So i scarfed down my steak and headed out the door. I hate working out right after a meal. I took my 2 pills as I was walking onto the floor. Here's today's results:

Thats the workout! I was hoping to do better on the bench, but upping to 190 wasn't in the cards. That was really heavy! Will have to stay at 185 for anther week or 2 I think. By the end of the shoulder press I felt spent. I had the focus and drive, but my body wasn't responding as good as i wanted it to. Chalk it up to an off day and move on.
Today's macros: 1892c 158p/117c/74f My Buffalo Chili I had for lunch and the 7oz of steak for dinner killed me on fats. I wanted to be around 60g. I should have had some more carbs prior to the workout, but didnt have time as schedule changed.
Tomorrow is legs, will definitely have to make sure I have my carbs in before I head out the door!
In the first 3 weeks, the pills have made me feel more confident at the gym. I have an overall better attitude throughout the day. My sex drive has been increasing as well . My lifts have not gone down during the cut so far, which is a huge plus in my book. So far so good, lets see how the next 5 weeks progress.

Day 22
Took two pills before dinner last night. Had a great pre-workout meal with some extra carbs, grabbed a cup of coffee and headed out the door to blast legs. Pulled up to the gym and it was......CLOSED!!!! A transformer was struck by lightning and took power out for a large part of the area. I was so pi$$ed!! I went home and did a bit of cardio instead. So, tonight is now legs and I have to adjust my other workouts. Grrr.....

Not a bad night. The squats felt really heavy. I want to do 3x8, but have the hardest time breaking 5-6 reps. I always did 5x5 prior to this cut. I should drop the weight down since I am doing more reps per set, but in my head I feel like that is a sign of getting weak. The rest of the lifts feel fine.

It was a really good workout. I was so hyped after hitting those 70lb incline DB presses. When I got the the hammer strength rows, I just slammed through those sets with the rush I had. Then I walked over for tricep pushdowns and my arms were spent. First set was ok, but after that it was all downhill. Going to just do light cardio tonight instead of legs and do my legs on Saturday. Will get my schedule back on track next week.

I am very happy with today's workout. I did deads first instead of second. I hit a PB of 300x5 (previous was 300x1 on Dec 31st). Squats were decent, but I felt my form giving way so I dropped the last set 20lbs and banged out 20 good ones. I may keep these lower weight/higher rep as it felt really good. I upped my leg press to 450, should have done it sooner but wasn't paying attention. I also upped my leg curls a tad. I did a bit of stationary bike at the end as to stretch the legs.
At the end of 4 weeks, I have not lost any strength, I actually gained. I have lost only 3lbs, but I am starting to feel smaller. I know my arms are shrinking, those things always look like twigs. My stomach is going down a bit, I'm down 1 belt hole. I'll try and post pictures Monday of my current status.
