    Cialis and bodybuilding.. Srs question..

I was wondering, from a purely curious standpoint, if cialis had any effect at all on muscle growth ( not the one in your pants...lol) but seriously maybe due to vasodialation or that it supposedly raises testosterone.. Does anyone have any knowledge on this subject or know if anyone has used it for purely bodybuilding reasons? I would love to see some studies if anyone has seen anything related. I have googled and searched the site, but not found much on the subject. Please don't flame lol just after seeing all the commercials and reading about how it supposedly works I thought it may help with muscle growth.. I am really just curious. Thanks.

And before anyone starts with the " your too young" or the other typical flames, this is purely hypothetical and no where in this post did I say I was going to do this lol

CIalis does not raise your testosterone. All it does is help with blood flow, specifically relaxing the muscles in your abdominal area to allow easier blood flow...to your wanger.

the raise in testosterone probably has more to do with the increase in sexual activity than the medication. Bigger pumps as a result of better blood flow though only make sense since icariin is 1/10th or 1/20th if I remember correctly the pde5 inhibitor of cialis, viagra, levitra, ect and that always delivered great pumps in my exp. Direct muscle growth though doubtful.

Thanks for the replies guys! I didnt think it would have much if any benefit but I figured I would ask.. one other question though, Ive tried to read a little on the subject but most sources I read say that NO boosters are a bunch of bs so how is it that the better pump attributes to increased performance in the gym and better gains? Sorry if it is a stupid question, all I can find is conflicting data and 99% say they are all bs..

Check out Vasotropin. I am running a log of it right now and have really been enjoying it. My lifts have been quite exceptional since I started using it. Great pump in the gym and I feel very SOLID. My backsquat immediately climbed back up to its highest point just from taking the product.

its a back and forth debate. imo they are very beneficial especially for stretching muscle fascia. i have no idea in terms of nutrient delivery and clearance of waste products so maybe some one will chime in in that regard. sheeit if nothing else they look cool and are motivating indirectly resulting in better workouts.

most substances that increase no also have another mechanism in which they help improve performance. nitrates decrease oxygen demands, agmatine increases insulin sensitivity, stimulates release of certain hormones, citrulline reduces lactic acid/ammonia.

What do you mean by stretching muscle fascia? And also what are some Ideal products that actually work? I believe in proper diet and training as being of foremost importance but I will gladly take any extra edge I can get.. What are some products that have actually made a difference for you?

Does anyone have any experience with glycergrow? I was thinking about trying it as it is stim free and every review Ive read says it gives great pumps.. Besides the pumps though, how is it beneficial to muscle growth and how will it help me gain quicker?

Physiologically, GMS will do nothing to facilitate hypertrophy; however, the pump (via osmotically increased interstitial volume) can be a motivator in the gym, which natural athletes can appreciate and people seem to generally underrate.

Last question, what is more preferable for natural athletes, glycergrow or some other stim free NO Booster?

If you want something stim free that delivers awesome pumps and performance in the gym go with Hemavol. I'm also enjoying White Blood v2 and both have a small dose of gms but other ingredients that greatly contribute to nitric oxide.

straight gms would not be my prefered choice however.

Its a common misconception that cialis etc dialate the blood vessels. If im not mistaken, they stop the signal for the vessels to become restricted. Kind of the way nolva is missunderstoood. Most people knows what its used for, but confused on the way it actually gets the job done.

They inhibit pde5 which breaks down cGMP leaving more NO available in the body I beleive. Were pretty much saying the same thing I believe.

The physiological end is the same; there is no misconception to be had.

The mechanism is the other way around: NO (activates GC) --> GTP--(GC)--> cGMP --> decreased calcium flux

Though Cialis/Viagra won't do anything for muscle gains, they have actually been used as "doping" agents by cyclists in all sorts of races in the past, including the Tour de France. And I think particularly at high altitutes. Googling Viagra and cycling should yield some results. I think there were a few cyclists busted with Viagra on more than one occasion.

I had heard the same stuff about it increasing NO and improving pumps. Victor Conte (think Balco) used to give them to the athletes he trained.

But OP, you're 23, where do you get Cialis? A Dr or online?
