    Brain Fog

So, how long does this last? Will it last over two weeks? The reason for asking is afraid it'll interfear with my studies. I've read a couple different answers, but how long did it last for you?

it happens when the body starts to use ketones for energy..sometimes the process causes some mental fogginess until the body adapts to using this type of energy...it doesn't happen to everyone, but some unfortunately suffer from a case of the stupids....myself included

The brain, not necessarily the body curly-top, needs 25% glucose to fuel itself. When you're in the early stages of fat adaptation, the brain is getting used to the fact that you're only giving it the bare minimum of glucose to run and now it has to use ketones as well

I'm curious about Omega-3 counter acting the " brain fog", I haven't read that much about it. I'm not sure that there have been many studies done, but I remember seeing something about Omega-3 possibly helping with neuron to neuron bridge. I would think if you are supplementing with Flaks & Fish oil the " fog" should be at a minimum. If any one has any info on this it would be greatly appreciated.

I take fish oil and I've been in ketosis for about 6 days, don't feel brain fog too much except when I went to get a glass of water I put the water jug in the cabneit instead of the fridge when I was done with it.
    Haven't worked out in...9 months, **** vacation
