The Honda NSX (sold as the Acura NSX in North America and Hong Kong) is a sports car that was originally produced between 1990 and 2005 by Japanese automaker Honda. It was equipped with a mid-engine, rear-wheel drive layout, powered by an all-aluminium V6 gasoline (petrol) engine featuring Honda's Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control (VTEC) system
Edmunds Review of NSX vs an R8. 21 years old and NSX still holds it own againts a modern day super car. From the article:
There's no way to handily summarize the best car here. And that's not what we're trying to do anyway. The point is to capture each car's spirit. The NSX, 21 years ago, was ahead of its time — both in its construction and its attitude. It wasn't the fastest or most powerful car built, but it made a strong case for combining quality, durability and everyday drivability with engaging at-the-limit character.

Was. I know our opinions differ, but after driving over 100 different cars, I believe the current M3 coupe is the best daily driving sports car ever. The editor of road and track said that he thought the Ferrari f430 was the best car he had ever driven, until he drove the M3.
No hate OP. the NSX is sweet. With such great cars in the market and so much competition, it's great for the consumer!"I don't say goodbye until the pain says hello. That's how you know the set is done." -Greg Plitt

WAT!?!
1. How is it going to fit
2. How to do make a transverse engine configuration (NSX) fit a longitudinal mount motor/tranny (LS)
3. WAT!?!
Edit:
Not saying it's impossible, just would take a lot of fab work/engineering and IMO would be a whole lot easier to supercharge/turbo the car...*cVc* -USAF-

Please to not be jizzing on my car. Thx"An independent woman is a contradiction in terms. For woman's chief want is to feel that she is wanted. Therefore it is that with women, cruelty is more easily borne than coldness. Indeed, It is astonishing how much downright cruelty a woman will stand from the man she loves or has loved. What women admire is a subtle combination of forcefulness and gentleness. If a woman has to choose between forcefulness and gentleness, always she will sacrifice the latter." - Arnold Haultain

NSX wasn't exactly a supercar OP. A Mclaren F1 is a supercar. SOME Ferrari's are supercars. A Honda with not even 300hp isn't exactly supercar territory.
I like to think the Pontiac G8 is your everyday family sedan... that has a 415HP LS3 mated to a proper 6spd manual transmission, advanced suspension (it's Australian not American), near perfect 50\50 weight distribution, brembo brakes, and in my opinion incredible sedan aesthetics, all for 35 grand? I'm 6'6 and I had plenty of room in the back and while I haven't driven new M3's or Ferrari's, it was a truly incredible car to drive.
