I'm getting sick of everyone asking what the cube method is and even sicker of everyone just saying "buy the book". It's like everyone that bought the book doesnt want to let out the secrets Lol. I think Brandon could sell more copies if he gave everyone a bigger taste of what the cube method was on the website to entice people to buy it. The cube method could be amazing. It could be shiittt. All I know is when I read the site for buying it and read the "info" about it, it looks like a gimmick. This isn't a knock on the cube method itself. I don't know enough about it. But the marketing and preview info needs work.
OP if you do a little digging on youtube, you can find a taste about what the cube has to offer. I did a small amount of digging but became disinterested honestly, so I can't really explain it to you. But Lilly does seem to have a lot of info on youtube.STRONGMAN Competitor

i think this is a solid idea, man. adequate set up is essentially the most important part of the method. the four corners of the cube are equally important and you really want them to dig in uniformly during training. one slip up and the whole thing's just going to drop on you and you'll probably end up in the er. you also have to make sure you hit depth well enough for it to be effective. if You go a little too shallow, there's really no point in doing it because you're just going to fail and lose your **** on the floor. you should really Put all your effort into it. what i did was start training with the ironmind egg and that made the transition to The Cube really easy. you should check that out. it's also a good tool to have around to limber you Up and get some serious lubrication going before bringing the cube to the table. ultimately, it's Your decision but you really just need to make yourself one with the cube to get ahead using this method. unless you want to look like an Asshole.

I have the book so I'd recommend you stay with westside training. Not that the book is bad, but its really nothing new. If your current training is working, no need to change.

Typical westside is two ME days and two DE days+ assistance on all of those days. I don't have the book, but from my understanding, The cube is, 1 max day, 1 DE day, 1 repetition day, and 1 assistance day. Sounds like less volume to me. I also used to have a repetition in place of a DE day, and it didn't work for me. I had better results with throwing in rep work with my assistance. This is just me and MY body. Maybe it works well for you. I'm just a skinny kid and have a very unique style that works for me. I use a lot of the westside principles, but what I do should not be considered westside
Again, I don't have the book, so I don't know what you know. Maybe it is just as much volume as westside. I might have used the wrong word. "Frequency of each lift" should have been used instead. Benching once a week doesn't do much for me. (personally)STRONGMAN Competitor

I really like the concepts of the cube and I liked the book too.
I could see myself just running the skeleton of Cube which is just rotating RE/DE/ME weeks for each lift, and just use my own set and rep schemes. Just work up to 1-3 reps for ME, 12x2 DE for Squat, 8x3 for Bench and 15x1 for Deadlift, then 3x5 for RE or whatever. And just rotate it as laid out. Basically Westside set and rep scheme with Brandon's split.
But he lays out %'s, sets and reps in the book too if you want to go that route.

Strong understanding of volume ITT.
From my understanding, it's more volume than WS (more RE work, more accessory work, and I believe he once said something about doing more reps on ME exercises as well).Best Meet Lifts:
