Worked my glutes hard sitting my ass on this chair all day. This morning I tried the overnight oats I hear every1 talking about, was quite nice mixed oats with rhubarb yogurt, milk and vanilla protein last night for about 30g protein. Then had a pb and j and some milk for 25g, then a huge bit plate of chicken curry and rice with extra chicken breast for 70g protein, then a shake with milk/protein and some chocolate powder for 30g. Now got 900cals to do what I want with, no idea what to eat tho.

No plans for today either, I don't usually do anything at all on my off days lol. This will change when I start my cut though, got a good stretch of ground to run around where I live, like a circuit kinda thing, and got an exercise bike in the spare room so cardio will be ez. GJDM getting up for your run

That sounds good mate, I live near the sea front so I just run straight down the prom I find doing cardio on bikes, treadmills etc is good to monitor what level of intensity your at etc but I find I do more on road.. because once youve run for miles.. you have to turn back and get home.. with a treadmill etc you just have to get off lol.
Why not mate, enjoy the time off and recover.. with a p&j butty..DanSB workout/ nutrition log - http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=142259181

You know it man. Bit behind on my protein consumption for the day, already at 1kcals/3.3kcals and only got 30g in me. Gonna have a shake and a pb and j soon then some chicken later. Good point about just bein able to hop off the bike/treadmill.. Thats probably why I prefer it to outdoor running lol, though its hard to beat a run on a nice sunny day.

Start of week 2 of 5/3/1 tomorrow and i'm just as excited as I was last week. I'm going to approach the pullup/chinups in a different way this week, doing 4 sets twice a week on my Bench/OHP days as usual but what will differ is the volume. Last week I just kept trying and trying with varying rest periods and halfreps and some failed reps and I got maybe 6 good ones in the 20 I counted? Well I don't think that's an optimal way to progress in them simply because there is no order and no consistency.
What i'm doing this week is 4 sets of 2 in the following fashion:
Pullups(overhand) 2 clean reps -2min rest
Chinups(underhand) 2 clean reps -2min rest
Pullups 2 clean reps - 2min rest
Chinups 2 clean reps.
Then the next week I can aim for 3 reps and progress in this way. To make up for the lack of volume the exercises will be in this order:
Bench
Dips
Pullup/Chinups
T-Bars
Pushdowns.
and OUT!
Thursday will follow the same kind of thing, maybe i'll change the T-Bars to ordinary rows or underhand rows but we shall see.BJJ / Greyskull LP log

Aye it's hard, especially the programming side of things. I'd prefer a job in database/software design.
Up early this morning at 6.30am after not sleeping til after 3. Feelsbadman eyes hurting lookin at the screen but it's my own fault for sleeping in so late on sunday. Now just gotta fight the urge to go back to sleep as opposed to goin to my lecture. On another note weighed in at 184.2 after last weeks 180.4 lol, I know this is BS since I was only 182 yesterday morning so sticking with my cals for the next 2 weeks before tapering down a couple hundred every week to transition into my cut.BJJ / Greyskull LP log

Haha yeah ive had days like that weighing in more than perhaps i should.. usually dont to sodium and carbs in my diet. That being said everyones bodies react in different ways.. the weekend of rest may have helped you grow.. 2lbs over night! haha
That sounds like a well paid job buddy, good luck with your career goals..
my day consists of a 20 minute zumba "workout" this morning with breathing aparatus etc on as part of a study into whether zumba classes are more beneficial than zumba on the wii haha a perthetic study but someone somewhere has to do it! Im then going to kill my push day ... ... ... then go lectures.
kill it today mate PB time!DanSB workout/ nutrition log - http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=142259181

Just prepared my first (proper) attempt at overnight oats. Used 80g oats, 100g GY, 200ml chocolate milk, 30g vanilla protein, 5g splenda.
Total 650cals, 50+G protein.
Excited to see how it turns out, and i'm going to melt some pb to pour over it tomorrow morningBJJ / Greyskull LP log

Came back here to post after doing some reading, my head is up usually, looking in the mirror at my entrancing godlike reflection so do you reckon this is the problem? Like I said sometime last week i'm brand new to this exercise. Feet are crossed yes in an effort to squeeze my asscheeks which I don't always do, elbows flare out slightly but no shoulder pain worth mentioning (aside from muscle pain but I know the difference).
