The Runaway Jury was a book written by John Grisham, which was later adapted to a movie of similar title. I agree about Monty Python though.

Regardless of me thinking that no guns might be a better condition for society (at least as far as unorganized crime goes in many considerable places), I think taking an opposite position in the middle of current affairs can be more detrimental than refining the current position.

Is Wyatt Herb considered a cautionary tale for regional gun restriction? If any type of region restricted guns, does anyone think that it would attract more offensive violence from outside territories? The extra security in a highly populated area would probably be a big expense.

edit: Another question is whether it would be worse to restrict guns by city/county, state, or federal?

I'm just wrapping my mind around the stance that anti-gun advocates take. When I asked, I was thinking that States would probably be the least problematic as far as gun regulations.

There are federal regulations and state regulations. I do not believe there are county regulations (since doing so would be superfluous). I don't see a huge benefit to increasing gun control/regulations that much further anyway.

Are guns demonstrating to be a disruptive force in our society? It's hard to tell. Who's at fault though, when a man acquires a gun to do harm instead of good? It's not so easy when you discuss the dynamics. I feel that this book provides an interesting outlook on certain aspects of the dilemma.

There are county/city regulations. Chicago and NYC have stricter laws than the rest of their states I believe. I can't discharge a firearm in my county without just cause, or some sort of permit I think.

To a degree. I only really notice a smaller screen size when it comes to surfing web pages and trying to read the microsopic text on a phone. But a phone still has to comfortably fit in a pocket, allow you thumb-swipe with a single hand, etc.

I have a very simple litmus test to become real good friends with somebody.

I get a sense of their affinity towards British comedy using either Monty Python, A Bit of Fry and Laurie, or That Mitchell and Webb Look as the material. Be it from Netflix, YouTube, etc.

If they're the sort of person who ends up disliking all three, then the good friendship is a no-go.
