I'm happy to have an adorable new boyfriend that I was too scared to pursue for many years. He accepts me for everything I do and works at the gym.. added motivation! Been going hard at the gym for 3 weeks now with no sign of stopping and am starting to try to prepare days worth of healthy meals at once.

I've known him for, gosh, like 4 years from the gym. Eventually found him on ******** at one point (creep mode) haha. The first couple years I knew him I was with someone so I wasn't interested but did always notice how nice he was and also that he was super cute. Once I became single he transferred to another gym! I would see him like once every 6 months and every time I was dating someone. I've been single about 5 months now and started seeing him a lot at the gym so I finally flirted a little... he invited me to hang out outside the gym for the first time ever and we had a great time and have been inseparable ever since.

Beautiful!
I'm happy today because my schedule allows me to work from home for the next two days. My home work set up is nearly perfect now. I do need to find a whiteboard for my house though. I love whiteboards (they also make me happy). I'd love to use that whiteboard paint on an entire wall but I don't think my husband would be on board with that.

LOL. I agree. I've learned more accurate, helpful info about exercise and nutrition on this site in the past few months than I ever have in my life.
LYLAS 2 girl!!
One of these days we all need to meet up.
Congrats!!
Hoo-ha holding?
Oh wait: Here is what I'm happy about:
I got rid of my TV from 1981 (that I got at a garage sale) and just bought a flat screen. First major brand new electronic purchase in my life. Soooooo excited. That pic is crystal clear. I am mesmerized. Brb watching TV all night.

No well done filets!!!!!! Seriously I cringe when people order a filet well done. I am sure I will be cringing tonight a few times LOL A filet cooked medium is one of the most delicious things in the world.
I've heard most chefs get annoyed when people order filets well done!
Edited to add: I finally realized when I tried a piece of filet cooked medium why I always hated steak. My mom and grandmom used to cook it well done(aka dried out) and that's how I always had it. I never knew any different and I could never understand why anyone would want to eat meat that was even slightly pink. I didn't believe it until I was coerced into trying it and I've never eaten a well done piece of beef again - by choice anyway. My sister was cooking a London broil for Fathers Day one year. Her boyfriend asked how everyone liked it and everyone except me said well done. London broil is TERRIBLE well done, and that was another thing I always hated as a kid because my grandmom cooked it till it was the consistency of shoe leather - and she was a good cook! I don't get it. LOLLast edited by DaniGrrl; 02-01-2013 at 12:31 PM.

I used to eat mine medium well and my sister's red steak would gross me out. I tried hers one day and I have never gone back. Now I eat it medium rate to rare. I would much rather it be under done than over done. A well cooked steak should melt in your mouth.
I am so picky about my steak that I only let my husband cook it. Most people have no idea how not to overcook a steak. If we go to someone's house my husband has to grill mine.

Yeah it is especially since it isn't necessary
Nothing like Niman's they set the standard
Nothing special about omaha meat, it's standard corn fed USDA prime beef , the same you find in supermarkets
it's pretty much the same crappy beef sold at wallmart only difference is that they dry age it and don't inject it with solutions to keep the colourwho says love has to be soft and gentle ?
