I would say both have about the same development in relation to their size. But Eric`s insert lower making them look meatier fron the front. I prefer Ben`s personally.

You can't tell anything from the Donkey Calf raise picture, Bens could be pumped up and the angle is jacked, The 2nd picture their both the same width while eriks calves are much longer with different insertion points, Only way to knows whose are bigger is with a tape measure and cold muscles, I'd much rather have eriks calves out of the two!

Nah I agree.

Somebody posted Fankhouser's calves in the best bodyparts thread but I don't agree they are the best calves in bodybuilding. Don't get me wrong, they blow most calves away but to me they aren't the best. They definitely are some of the biggest, but this is a case where to much mass may not be the best thing, and not just in terms of his upper body, but in terms of anyone's upper body.

The outer portion of his gastrocnemius and his soleus has such long attachments that they almost look like cankles, even though we know they are certainly pure muscle and not like the ones on a fat chick. However the low attachments add to the illusion of having thicker ankles because he doesn't have that visual separation near the joint.

To me Pakulski has some of the best calves. The attachment points are closer to the middle and not higher up like on Wolf or JoJ's, and he has full muscle bellies and great separation.
