A while back someone made a similar thread that ended up dying off. I am going to keep a close eye on this one. If you do decide to schedule a cheat day, you will post about it in here first and plan for it, so that way it won't be a sudden splurge.
Everyone who posts here, if you can should keep a daily log about if they strayed from their cut. This is also the place if you want some motivation come on in and keep an update.
I am starting day 1 as of now.
Good luck!

Well already binged yesterday, i guess a little bit of today to but we'll just say today is a new day. I can't say that I'm not going to cheat anymore but I am definitely trying to stop binging. Its taking a huge toll on my mental and physcial health. And besides, besides trying to be healthy and look good for myself, i have a few people i need to keep a sexy body for : )

You are stronger than I. Last night started with a simple cup of rum and coke zero, by the end of the night I was knee deep in a bag of preztels. I feel bad for it for sure, but I just have to get back on track, right?
Well, count me in on this pact for at least 2 days. These next two days will be 100% clean. Thursday I have obligations, but until then. I'll renew that pact on Friday.
Wait I think I'm doing this wrong.

I like this idea. I'm new enough to where I didn't see the old thread, but I still like it.
Some things I've used lately to prevent serious bingeing, are peanut butter, sunflower seed kernels, and berries (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries).
These make for GREAT evening snacks, and when using the proper portions, they don't break the bank.May 2004 - 225 lbs.
May 2010 - 145 lbs.

You start with an intention, but you must constantly remind yourself to keep applying enough focus to achieve that outcome. Follow through. When you've given enough attention to the matter, you"ll have the result...

I don't consider it cheating if I still stay in my calorie goals. I eat Ice Cream nightly during the week (1/2 cup). I just fit it into my calories.
So for me this challenge is to maintain that on the weekends. I can still eat "dirty" foods (even though I don't believe in "dirty" food, just too much of it) I just want to keep from eating in a rediculous excess on the weekends.

Subscribed, but not in.
I want to see how this works. Will having to stick to a strict plan/pact/whatever make people more or less likely to cheat? I don't count scheduled cheat days as cheats at all because they're calculated into your plan. It's like the Joker said in The Dark Knight "Nobody panics because it's all a part of the plan." A real cheat to me is something like a poker night where one of my bros is serving pizza and beer and I go over my daily cals with a few slices of meat lovers and some Amber Bock. I'm very interested to see if the scheduled cheat thing works well. I think I'd go nucking futs if I had to stick to a plan religiously like that.
I'm not that closed minded though that I'll dismiss it. I actually want this to succeed. It'll be yet another tool for people to try on their respective journeys. If it works for you, ride that horse all the way to the finish line!"You show me someone who got fat eating fruit and I'll show you someone with a deep fryer and too much time on their hands."
Y.K.K.M.M.F.

I have 1 cheat day (well, cheat meal in the evening) a month, the last sunday of each month. I'll usually end up eating around 2500 calories for the entire day. It's just a good way to reward myself for my month of hard work and gives my metabolism a little jolt. Then it's back to work haha. I had my March cheat meal two days ago and it was awesome. Before the meal I was at about 950 calories, after 3 oatmeal/chocolate cookies, some M&M's, and a protein bar, I think it put me around 2200. Now it's time for another month!
Is breá liom mo eagla.

Im in starting from now, After losing more then 60 lbs in the last 6 monthes ive gotten lazy over the last few weeks and have lost some motivation, having the occasional binge here and their and giving into temptation earlier today. This is me saying I will stick to my strict diet and get those last few pounds of so I can have those washboard abs!
This is not a diet, It's a lifestyle I live.

In for life. No binging ever.
"Everyone thinks they're on their way to single digit body fat as soon as they see a blurry four-pack in the right lighting.Your final body weight at 5-6% will be a lot less than what you think.Talk to me again when you get in contest shape." I'd be willing to say that 95% of people on this forum accomplish nothing in years, don't be one of those people. It's sad, they seem to have the knowledge many don't but can't utilize it.

I'm in. Not sure on everyones definition of binging but I made some homemade chili last night with ground turkey, bell peppers, onions, & jalapenos. I could not stop eating it I killed probably 1/2 of it. Considering this was fairly fat free and low calorie and high in protein I think I will be okay. To be on the safe side I cut out a protein drink before bed.
I am just glad cake, chips, ice cream, and all that does not appease me. Much rather grill up some bell peppers then eating a bag of chips.
