So I'll find out Tuesday how long I'm gonna be out for my knee. It's only six weeks if they clean up my torn meniscus and partially torn ACL and smooth down the bone spurs on my tibia. If they need to repair/replace my torn PCL I'm out a year.

So unless MN has additional licenses and registration requirements for handgun purchases, you can just go to your local gun store. Call your local PD or sheriff's department and see what the statutes are for handgun purchases in your area.

That's how it is here for handguns. You need to go through the courthouse or whatnot. Then they do the check which takes a few days or so. Then you can purchase for a year.
