chipotle is good for you if done right

I eat at chipotle everyday (probably 5 days a week) sometimes I get 2 bowls and eat them 2 hours apart.

Bowl without sourcream or cheese.....and you will be okay. It is actually a good way to get some calories if you are bulking up.

If you are cutting you can probably find some better food, but chipotle is a good way to clean bulk (and cheap) like $6 for a steak bowl....

getting rid of the burrito shell ditches 200 cals and a bunch of worthless carbs... but still has a ton of salt. not a bad meal though if you dont put sour cream etc on it.

I agree with ditching the sourcream and cheese....But the Steamed rice? and the guacomole...The steamed rice isnt bad at all. and the guacomole is pretty much ground up and whipped up avocado which is a good way to get some healthy fats in......
Also i myself am a huge chipotle fan.....LOVE IT you can actually go to their website and get the nutritional facts on everything u can put in a burrito including the tortilla..

You guys are missing out big time! Get the crispy tacos with the shredded beef, sour cream, guacamole, and cheese. You'll never go back to the burritos! Probably really unhealthy, but I'm bulking so I try not to care too much!

love chipotle, taking in fact it's right down the street from campus. And at my gym (Xsport) i guess they're having a special thingy with a new chipotle that just opened at the mall. So I get free anything by showing them my gym pass.

    :O

    here's my typical order

chicken bol, extra rice, extra pinto beans, tomatos, green tomatillo, little bit of cheese and sour cream, little bit of lettuce.

$6.01 every time >.< ugh so damn good

Take out the chips and it is really not that bad. I just did the chipotlefan thing and the chips nearly doubled my calories from fat.

Not that unhealthy. The meats are all fresh and cooked right there on the grill in front of you. For 3 crispy taco shells it is only 180 calories. THat meal you listed would only be 720 calories.

45 g fat, 39 g carbs, 38 g protein. I think anyone can fit 720 calories in a day and still hit all there other criteria. Also I get the sour cream and cheese on the side so I can still have it but just not in the large quantity they would put on. This will save alot of calories and prolly would bring that meal down to 550 - 600 cals and also lower the fat content quite a bit.

Why does everyone make this dieting and nutrition thing so damn complicated when it really isn't that hard..

Chipotle is fantastic. You can pretty much think of it as Subway with burritos instead of sandwiches.

You can make it indulgent and unhealthy if you want, but you can also make it pretty damned healthy.

A burrito with beans, meat, veggies and salsa only is a pretty damned healthy meal. And you might be suprised how good it tastes even without cheese, guac, and sour cream.

And you can make it even better if you go for a bowl. Place rocks.

"In 1998, McDonald's made an initial minority investment in the company. By 2001, the company had grown to be Chipotle's largest investor. McDonald's' investment allowed the firm to quickly expand, from 16 restaurants in 1998 to over 500 by 2005. On January 26, 2006, Chipotle made its initial public offering, after increasing the share price twice due to high pre-IPO demand. In its first day as a public company, the stock rose exactly 100%, resulting in the best U.S.-based IPO in six years, and the second-best IPO for a restaurant after Boston Chicken (now Boston Market). The money from the offering was then used to fund new store growth.

    I love rumors...
Short term Goal: To cut back before bulking like a demon.
Mid term Goal: To find myself.
Long term Goal: To get what's mine.

Do not just say "well I should just have a McDonald's burger then because it's the same amount of calories". People, learn what a calorie is. Would you rather have a Big Mac where the macros are all fat and simple carbs or chipotle bowl where you're getting protein and complex carbs in rice? Know your sh*t lol.

Strong bump, also a big mac has a decent amount of protein; complex or simple carbs is irrelevant for the vast majority of people too.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
    1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.
