    Both?

Did the packaged get there okay or what? As a suggestion I would drink one from the can one from a glass to get different aspects of both. I actually might like it from the can better.

Oh jeeeeeeze backwoods bastard on tap.....forgot how good this was. So smooth so tasty

I also think ull be surprised at how good that jacks abby is drinking right now....next brewery to blow up for sure. They are doing everything right

I didn't find it all that bitter given Sierra Nevada brews are usually bitter. Hit of bitterness up front balanced by malt, sweetness and spice. It's a good year for the Celebration Ale.

Yea next time i go...i wish the bottled IPAS. I was only able to get saisons/wilds and a porter. But a few growlers I drank a few days after I got them...seriously good stuff.

I already want to go back up to get more stuff its really that good. I did a tasting while I waited for my growlers to be filled and everything was amazing. Juicy is probably the best beer I have ever tried including IPAs and thats saying a lot.

I was expecting it to not be insanely amazing, but it was excellent IMO. Basically met my expectations. I am waiting to see what it turns into in 6-12 months. I have a stockpile of the 2010 30th anniv Imp Stouts and Bwines, and they are fuking incredible right now after 2 years. Seriously, the Jack and Kens Black BWine is one of the best I have ever had(at 2 yrs old)

It's good but I'd take Old Rasp over it as a regular.

I don't see myself buying another 4-pack, but I'll try laying one down for a while as well.

Those are my babies. 30 year old Boston Acoustics A100 series I used as PC speakers.

Bitter but not overdone. Reminds me of 90% cocoa bars with the bitter-sweet sting upfront and rich undertones.

Right now fresh, it was quite noticeable, but not overdone. The aromas had a distinct floral and citrus rind presence; well balanced with the coffee, caramel, toffee in the malt side. Taste was more subdued in the hop side, only having a slight citrus quality. Bitterness was moderate; the beer was surprisingly complex, but not really super amazing overall.

lol, brew a few bad batches of beer, you'll learn to not like what was previously considered an off flavor and a failure.

I wish I could be a little more detailed, but I only had a few sips...but I felt that it wasn't as hoppy as you might expect a SN beer to be. Actually seemed like it had a pretty complex malt and roastiness. I'm sure I'll be picking up a pack to give it a proper go.

LOL at Saison's and sours! Just can't get into them.

I'm over hops right now and can tolerate a little but not into hop bombs. I prefer balanced brews.

lol you have the wrong mindset. I have never infected a batch, but had had infected bottles. When I brew a stout I have expectations. If I get apples and raisins, thats a fuk up. When I get a beer brewed with a certain yeast I know what I am supposed to get. I will agree its kind of weird in that respect. I am offended when I get an IPA that smells of apple skins, then when I get a Belgian that smells the same it is amazing to me. Mindset.

ice...funny story about rasputin...it was one of the first beers i bought when i turned 21 when i was just getting into craft. On my 21st bday i went and bought a mixed 6 this is what i got.

    stone ipa
    stone levitation...the red ale?
    rasputin
    stormking
and 2 others i cant remember...

i drain poured or gave both storm king and rasputin to my roommates. It wasnt till i was like 23 did I start drinking RIS. And oh do I love them now.

Maybe it wouldn't be so bad if they would just stop calling them beers. lol. I get what they're going for and everything, but it's just not the flavor I'm looking for. And I had way too many failed beers before I started getting really into craft brewing, and just associate sourness with bad things. Dunno. Just not something I can bring myself around to caring for.
