Would not marry anyone who doesn't do this. We will both be working, and I want him to take initiative in doing things like that.

My last girl used to take 20 minutes to get ready for a 5 minute trip to the coffee shop. lol. But now that we aren't together and strictly platonic, she doesn't give as many fukks. It's actually kind of cool if you think about it. She wasn't just getting dolled up so that I could have something to look at but it was also important for her that I looked better in public by having a more presentable gf on my arm.

I think that's something that many people, both male and female don't understand. I love being around someone I care about and am attracted to but I also like NOT being around that same person and just being w/the boys or by myself.

I need my alone time and my personal space. I'm not reclusive or antisocial in the least bit. I just think it's healthy to have a balance.
