what all do ya do for shoulders?

i never focused on them, always figured all the kickboxing i do plus flat DB bench, and incline DB bench would get the shoulders decent. dont wanna over do it because my left shoulder has always had problems.

    I do barbell military presses.
    Barbell shrugs
    Alternating lateral raises
    Side later raises
    Bent over aide raises
    Arnold presses
    Dumbbell shrugs

Depends on the day really which ones I do.

in the gym - seated bar press, nice solid basic.

at home or gym - arnold presses, upright rows, lateral raises, rear laterals, front raises - all dumbbells. shrugs - bar or DB.

My trainer is writing my plan, but I got curious and plugged it in to check. About 1900 right now which doesn't sound like a lot, but I am definitely full all day! I will start cutting/leaning towards the end of January, depending on which competition I choose. My trainer starts that process 15 weeks out.

    1. Standing BB press/seated DB press
    2. DB side lateral raise
    3. DB bent over rear delt flys/reverse fly machine

and if I'm really feeling like doing a lot of volume I add this in

    4. EZ bar upright row
    5. DB shugs

For shoulders, personally the one exercise that added the most width would probably be side presses. I'm on mobile atm and can't link to a video, but you get into a side plank position and press straight up vertically. It requires a lot of balance to do at first, but one of my favourite exercises for medial delts.

Sorry for all the girl troubles boys... That's no bueno!

It was leg/glute day for me this morning... working on high and tight!
Eating to bulk is so much harder than I thought! I am full all day long, which I guess is good, because I don't even want to think about snacks or eating junk food... Instead of counting down to my next meal, when it is time to eat, I just groan... haha Gotta put on some muscle tho!

    Have a great day all!
I'm jealous- you know I LOVE leg day!! My glutes are soooo sore today from new moves/work out yesterday. I totally agree with "High & Tight!"

I still need to get a shaker for home use...I heard my blender making funny noises today...hubby said it sounds like the motor is going out..Really??!!

"I woke up this morning, after sleeping in again, and decided suddenly to skip the gym and take the exercise outdoors today. I am totally affected by the weather. I have to have "light" in my life to be happy. Since I looked outside and saw the sunshine, I thought it would be perfect to enjoy it while I could. The icky snowy weather will be here before ya know it. I am sooooo thankful that I did. I ended up walking the river trail that a year ago 04/12 almost took my life. Well, actually, my actions were responsible. It felt sooo awesome to be there today celebrating a healthy/fit life!! It was beautiful! I stopped at the end of my walk (at the very spot) and spent a few moments gathering my thoughts and enjoying the scenery of the river. I guess I should get outdoors more often. Now I'm home and off of work this evening so I will enjoy the kiddos. We're heading to the library here in a few. "

Winter and I don't get along. I've been out of CA for 12 years but can't get the CA out of the Gal!! If there is an icy patch, I seem to find it and if there's a deep snow area...yep, you guessed it..I'm flat on my back! And NOT making snow angels! LOL

Maybe being more fit this year will have its benefits and just maybe I will have fun in the snow!
