Son of a bitch. I made a play for the Bengals D, but forgot to take out the Lions D so I got a nice ZERO points from them. At least I'm playing Farles this week so it shouldn't really matter.

Today was a regular Thursday except little or no shops were opened. Decided to cook dinner instead of ordering out.

No turkeyday dinner with friends/family/neighbors/coworkers/etc?
That's pretty sweet.
Possibly stupid question... what are you going to do with it? Like is that a range-only-unless-defending-yourself type weapon, or can you hunt with it, or...?the crew that poop poop poops crews crew

any of you boys ever hunt with a bow and arrow. I'd love to go all Assassin's Creed and use a knife and hunt me a deer but I gots a feeling I couldn't sneak up on them.

There's a guy at work who claimed to hunt deer with a knife.
And a boat
He would wait for them to cross a river (did you know deer can swim? wtf) and when they started to swim across he would jump out of the boat and slit their throats with the knife.
He was also supposedly a Navy Seal.
And he has other stories that nobody believes too!All Hail the Ultimate Master, "I Know More Than The Generals Do", Donald Camacho Dr. Pepper X-Ray AR-15 Trump

I'm not sure what I'll do with it. It isn't a particularly practice firearm, as far as I can tell.
Even for self defense it doesn't seem to be particularly useful. I think I'll put a single point sling on it and keep it in my car as my 'truck gun' (I almost always carry a handgun, and keep a handgun in the car if I'm not carrying one, so it wouldn't be my only gun).
It isn't technically mine. He gave it to me "for as long as I want it". I'm supposed to give it back sometime. But we live 700 miles apart and see each other like 1-2 times per year, and have been best friends since 6th grade. We'll see if I ever give it back, or give him something else later in exchange, or what.

The stupid ****ing BATFE says you can't put a vertical/forward grip on a handgun. If you do that you either need a 16" or longer barrel, or you need to pay $200, wait on paperwork, and register it as a short barrel rifle (not legal in all states, have restrictions)
You also cannot put a shoulder stock on it or, again, it is a short barrel rifle.
As it is it is simply a handgun.

This reminds me of the switchblade laws. How dumb is that? A knife that comes out at the press of a button is illegal, but one that has a spring that assists the opening by barely pushing on the blade is OK.
And THAT reminds me of all of the other dumb laws we have on the books, especially some of the funnier ones in other states.

Probably at least half of the laws in this country need to be purged.
