    Thoughts on subway?

Hey guys, recently I moved out and got my own place.. And since I no longer have someone cooking for me, I've been going to subway like almost 3 times a day. Just wondering if this is good/bad, I'm currently bulking so I'm trying to just eat as much as possible.

And the best part is, I don't even pay for the subs, a good friend of mine works the night shift there and hooks me up foot long subs for the price of a cookie.. It's pretty awesome, so I'm not wasting any money.

Usual sub is steak and bacon, with no sauce, lots of veggies. and or chicken with tons of veggies and little sauce.

Would I be better off getting a recipe book and learning how to cook? Or is subway somewhat healthy?

If you can track your intake & make sure you're getting adequate nutrition, I don't really see a problem with it.

Learn how to cook.. Seriously. You'll save yourself a but load of money.

But Subway is good, I love it, just watch out for the sodium content. I think the best choice Protein/Sodium/Fat content wise is the oven roasted chicken.

Why would you want subway three times a day?

Well, if it were me, i'd probably take advantage as much as I could.... but honestly I get bored with the same foods pretty quick.

Subways good every once in ahwile but I would definitely recommend learning to cook! That way you don't have to eat the same thing everyday and can get some variation in there.

Road trips for me usually mean subway 2-3 times per day. Last road trip to Lake Tahoe I had probably 12footlongs total going there and back.

Subway employee brah checking in, if you live in Aus I can tell you for sure that it's good whether your bulking or cutting, most of our veges are bought locally and we cut them up, you can get a whole salad on a footlong and it will still be ****ing delicious.

Cant say how subway in the U.S prepares their stuff but im sure its relatively the same.

Three times a day? Sounds boring as ****. Subway is one of the better fast food outlets, but eating anything three times a day every day is far from optimal. Grow up and learn to cook.

Don't be lazy and cook your food at home. A big Sunday cook off can keep you going for 3-4 days at least. Sure, in a pinch Subway is OK, but there's less room for error cooking your own and knowing portions etc.

Learn to cook at home and eat subway sandwiches from time to time. Give your body more variety. Even if such variety does not of itself turn into explosive gains. Do it because it can be healthier and you can't lose by learning to cook.

don't see a problem with it if you can stand eating subways all the time. just watch out for sodium levels in deli meats. those things are full of sodium nitrites.

Cant say how subway in the U.S prepares their stuff but im sure its relatively the same.
That's good to hear, I'm in Canada and there are some farms around where I live so maybe they get it locally as well? I've heard people say that their veggies come in bags though.

I eat Subway regularly. If I got it for free I would get creative as hell and eat there every damn day.
