    I got the damn flu. Blew chunks last night and woke up with some horrible chills/body aches. So much for starting off my training in 2012 with a bang, eh? I'm doing my best to get my protein in but even that is tough. Hopefully it's just a 24 hour bug, I'm ready to get back to lifting!

    Feel better soon! I just got over a stomach virus/flu, and it was no fun. As predictable as it sounds, keep drinking as much as you can. I ended up in the ER from dehydration (couldn't hold anything down). Best of luck.

    The gym will be there when you feel better. Do not rush it. I repeat do not rush it. When you decide you feel good enough, take another day off. Seriously I set myself back so bad with the flu and a sinus infection by going back too soon. Get better brah.

    If you have some aminos and gatorade, it works very well for keeping things down and synthesizing protein. Obviously not the caloric intake you need, but it's better than nothing.

    - Today was the first time in a long time I tried out some traditional stance deadlifts. 515 wasn't very challenging but I need to get my hips lower, shoulders more behind the bar, and keep my back tighter. It was definitely an uncomfortable experience but I think it's going to benefit me a ton in the long run. I've decided to do all my pulling/GMs in a traditional stance in order to really focus on my weaknesses.

    Those are sweet setup with the boards but dang you coulda made that for about 10-15$ at a hardware store. Sometimes working for legit equipment is worth it. Like lets say If I was a billionaire I would be like the rest and pay people to do everything for me....Maybe even workout

    Really? I know it doesn't show it in that picture but you realize that those things attach to a velcro strap so you don't need anybody else to hold the board. It's super convenient.

    Yea if you drilled in a loop on the bottom of a board and used one if the cheap Velcro belts at most gyms and looped it in. I made a 4 board out pf 2x4 and ductape and the guys at lowes cut the bottom board longer for a handle. I spent like 8$mid for them to do all of that.

    LOL....I read a lot in the powerlifting section where guys have made things. I seen a guy make a power rack for squatting and benching and e bench all out of duct tape, screws and 2x4s. It has like a 700+ weight limit and still holding up for 3-4 years so far from his video. Now that dude knows his stuff LOL. Said he only spent liek 150-200$ to make it all also.

    I've been thinking about making my own Farmer's Walk implements but that's as crazy as I've gotten.
