You can't even see what the hell happens in the video because the spotters are in the way... And the guy's voice yelling at him to push into the belt really annoyed me for some reason.

USAPL/IPF Rule book interpretation please...

Two layers of medical tape may be worn around the thumbs. Medical tape or its like
may not be worn anywhere else on the body without official permission of the Jury or
Chief Referee. Medical tape may not be used as aids to the lifter in holding the bar.

1. I assume medical tape can be standard cloth athletic tape?
2. I viewed a few ways to wrap the thumb via one of Shankle's vids for hook grip. Would that be considered aiding the lifter in holding the bar?

I think I've seen people before with tape on their thumb to help with hook grip but I'm not sure. Most likely, at the state level, they won't know the rule, they won't care about the rule, or they will get the rule wrong.

Chiro said tight hamstrings and tight hip flexors (especially left one) causing me to compensate squats with my lower back. About what I suspected. Paid some money and got electrical stim with TENS unit while laying on a table that had rollers that moved up and down your back. Then some acupuncture on the lower back, spinal adjustments, and biofreeze. Lower back feels better but he says to take the week off from squats, deadlifts, abs, and back extensions and come back again next week. He said I can do leg press instead. Gotta decide if I wanna do it.

Yea, I've been focusing my foam rolling work on hamstrings, IT band, and quadraceps tendon mostly. I guess I gotta get in on those hips and do some work. I'm gonna start using one of my bands to do some distraction work I saw on mobilityWOD.

Half Asians of the family (Isaku, Link if you pay attention, Kyogni, Rothenburg if you are still around) do you have the same amount of hair as white people or Asians? I know Isaku can grow a beard but I believe he is half Japanese? Which seems like the most hairy Asians. I just got very worried that any daughters I may have will have my amount of hair because all my female cousins have as much hair as I do

This is my guess, at the state level you see all kinds of **** fly that the internet convinces you isn't allowed. Elitefts sleeves and wraps, head coming off bench (seen this at nationals too, sneaky knuts), ect

Im chinese/black grow only a neck beard and have barely any arm hair and some what hairy legs. ohh and i have a foot of hair on my head

This year is in Florida. That doesn't mean next year it will be as well, usually it rotates. They will be stricter at Nationals and probably tell you at equipment check that it is not allowed. But that doesn't mean you can't just do it anyways without getting trouble. They told us we couldn't wear our FSU Powerlifting t-shirt because we didn't pay/fill our forms to get it passed or whatever. Still wore it when it came time lifting and nobody knew or cared. When they got 100-200 lifters competing, they don't care too much about the nobodies who aren't gonna set any kind of National/American/World record.

Its the same where I work. They make so much money in profits that losing a little business or a small operating expense is nothing to them. Hell I got paid for 2 months to not work before they where smart enough to furlough me.

Fish oil is super cheap on vitacost today... Comes to $0.30 a day if you take enough for 5g of EPA/DHA a day like Kiefer recommends. Either way it's super cheap, and I take the same brand (just less concentrated... 16 pills/day) and I do not get burps at all. This one would only require you to take 8 a day... And if you buy 4 of them you get free shipping ($25 of their brand of products). Just thought I'd pass it on
