New world record 402.0 lbs total weight pulled
This pull was much better then my 404 pull-up and I was able to hold it.
Never trained for above +400 lbs before. Last time I just did 404 lbs and stopped training.
I think to get 425-450 I'll have to do 365 lbs for 5

Training for 425 lbs total weighted Pullup
I'm going to need to do more reps with even heavier weight to get 425 lbs.
I can't neglect my high reps training since they will help it.

Figured. NTF training is the best for me too.
I like high/moderate volume, high/moderate frequency. Using heavy weight, but stay away from failure 98% of the time.
Just got a nice strict OHP PR today if you wanna check it out. Pressed a little more than my BW. Its in my log, last page, 12.Journal: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=139898123&page=240

Weird. Do you squat a little high maybe or use a belt? I would have guessed since you're at 6ft like me your DL would be way stronger than your squat.
I squat beltless ATG, its prob at 325-335 right now. DL is almost @ 445. Bench is at 300+. And my weighted pullup sucks compared to yours BW+100Journal: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=139898123&page=240

I would work on depth. But keep good form obviously. Try and go a lil below parallel. And just 3x5 for working sets with weight that won't have you struggling at the end. Then next session or the session after that try and add 5lbs. Just like SS really. Start lighter, work your way up to the heavier stuff and get that progressive overload.
That's what has been working for me lately. I squat heavy 2x a week usually. I'll do 3x5 then if I'm feeling good add a triple in at the end with more weight.
I do them at home too and have a rack. I set the safety bars low just encase. Its really for peace of mind and allows me to go 100%.Journal: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=139898123&page=240
