Anyone have any experience with the Burgener & Ripptoe (B&R) Bar? I like it's 29mm, very stiff (highest psi rating I've seen), not to aggressive knurling, and just under $300. I plan to use it just for deadlifts and training my hook grip. Other 29mm's I've seen ~$300 are the York 1500# power bar, and econ westside bar. All happen to be available from rouge too.

Concur.
If you do not gain weight....you are not eating enough. Eat more. Here is a little trick I like. Cook 8 lbs of meat in one day in what ever manner you choose. Eat that 8 lbs in three days. Insert appropriate side dishes as necessary. Repeat every three days.Strongman Training Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=138026593

Binge drink Guinness. It's better for lean gains than all of those things. The can doubles as a foam roll and the widget's much harder and more dense than a lacrosse ball. The possibilities are endless.

Just one dozen? Step it up. Though start with just glazed then work up to one dozen glazed and the second dozen assorted with some glazed. I made a mistake of one dozen glazed and another dozen fully assorted and that was really rough. Going two dozen glazed tonight.
As for coconut oil as much as your angus can handle. I don't have issues with it and cook everything in it and spread it on my bread. I just use heavy cream in my coffee now. I think Mega doses of fish oil is more important. I take like 14-16 caps of those.Last edited by Jason2459; 01-17-2013 at 05:27 AM.

i'm poor too so I try to moderate eating out. a dozen is the most I can spend on fast food. love the blue berry cakes ones though. 2 dozen glazed is just nuts man. that has to be 3000 calories?
thanks i was thinking of taking about 3 heaping tbs a day and I also take 6-10 fish oil caps a day. my friend posted that article stating that excess fish oil = clogged arteries; howevr the test subject was rats.

yes.
my wife is the same way. she used to get cavities from eating so frequently. dentist told her to eat less frequentlytrying to get strong again

I don't do it all the time but maybe just for fun every couple weeks. I love donuts. I didn't read the article but researchers are usually funded for some purpose and go to extremes to prove a point. Like those Mega doses given to the rats would provably equate to a human taking in a full bottle of fish oil a day

Mashed potatoes made with cream cheese and chives and a little white onion. I can eat a pot a day. Or eggos from Sams club or the like. A whole pack a day (10ish depending on flavor/brand) is a ton of calories, cheap still, and doesn't feel dense in your stomach.
