    Should I take testosterone booster?

    I'm 20 years old and trying to gain muscle. I read some articles on the website that say you should take them. So, even at my age is it 100% perfectly fine for me to take testosterone boosters?

    for your age also my age its not necessary. your test is high naturally from 18-21. don't believe the stuff that tey tell you. like if you take tribulus you gai 10lbs of muscle! that bs. i did take it cause it was very cheap, a i actually took x-factor n tri. (both wich i didn't need at this age!) when i actually combined tribulus it helped a little more. but the choice is yours, i say don't take it cause it wont give you results due to high test level you already have at this age. if your were 40 yeah, you prob. can take and see results. protien and amino acids ae prob. better for you.

    Things like this are printed so that people who seem them will buy them. As with many studies, the results from tribulus are conflicting. At your age there isn't even a need for it IMO, that and the fact that I don't think that it works. You can't beat real food for real gains. No supplement can help with any gain if your diet doesn't support your goals.

    My opinion from and old post about the same topic: test boosters

    IMO don't need any test boosters until you are well into your 30's ( unless you have a medical condition).

    Trib is supposed to increase LH. LH is a hormone in the chain of the endocrine system which stimulates the production of other hormones, such as testosterone. I don't think it is very effective or there would be no need for other legal and illegal substances with their side effects. You may increase the production of other hormones--not only test--and you may not want those. I have not seen any study that shows trib actually caused a boost in test levels.

    ZMA is also a mild test booster. Just watch your zinc intake. Too much for an extended time is not good and may block the uptake of other minerals leading to problems. Just cycle it and use a multi that is not high in Zinc during your ZMA time.

    DHEA looks good when combined with the others mentioned. But it also converts to estrogen among other things. Should be cycled and only used after age 35-40 IMO.

    6-OXO binds to the enzyme (aromatase) that converts test and some other hormones to estrogen. This may increase test because less is converted and the body may try to produce more because estrogen is low. Once again, as I am sure you have herd it before, you don't really want to mess around with your endocrine system unless it is the last resort.

    I recommend the best Testosterone booster--heavy Full Squats, Deadlifts, Bench presses, and clean and press. Combine those lifts, heavy, with a good diet and you will be like a Bull on androstene.

    Eat good fats such as nat pb, walnuts, ground flaxseeds, fish oils, and a little bit of the bad ones when they are from a good source such as lean beef and eggs. These are used to build hormones.

    Eat broccoli, cabbage, and brussle sprouts (they are rumored to have some anti-estrogen, but either way are good for you) Steaks and whole eggs. Use those brutal 4 lifts I listed regularly--you will have all the testosterone you can handle

    but to answer more directly, I do not think trib will hurt, just don't take it constantly with no breaks. However, I also do not believe it will add much test either.

    Cholesterol is a tesosterone precursor. Beef, eggs, butter contain cholesterol & I eat them specifically for testosterone production.

    unless you have medical problems or family history to prevent you, I say Hell yeah to good sources of fat and cholesterol.

    I eat my egg yolks and lean beef. The media make cholesterol sound like the anti-Christ, but the fact is its needed to live. To low of fat/cholesterol intake will hinder hormon balance and production.

    I believe there is not much proof to back-up any significant positive effects for a healthy male. No evidence that you will build more muscle. But we are all different and I admit there are always exceptions.

    You can try them and see if you like them. If you believe they are working the placebo effect still may be a great motivator and lead to more aggresion/energy in the gym, which will lead to better workouts.

    im 20 yrs old and have been taking trib for about 2 weeks now. Those who say it doesnt do anything, I can't agree with them. Since ive been taking, its like puberty all over again. some signs ive been expierancing include:
    -more extreme mood swings (higher highs and lower lows)
    -increased acne
    -random 'tight pants' syndrome (haha..like, 7x daily..kinda sucks)
    -sleeping like a baby

    My body seems to be getting more used to the trib as of lately. The mood swings have been leveling out a little bit and i dont get erections quite as often. But the fact that my body went through all that says its doing something. just my two cents.

    they wont hurt you as long as you do the right ones. stick to non syntetic test boosters. stay away from anything that isnt herbal based. you end up crashing at the end and most convert into estrogen easier than steroids do without the gains at the same price.

    if your bods so perfect than why dont you have pics up?

    gaining muscle is easy, its just expensive!

    I'm not a big fan of the acne, but my main reason for wanting to take tribulus is for libido and the sexual reasons. How soon did you notice these effects? Also how much are you taking daily?

    Well not everyone wants it for building muscle, some one us(like me) want it for sexual reasons
    Try fenugreek-it's cheaper and EVERYONE seems to respond to it (for libido, not mass building)

    The reason why people say it wont do you any good if you're younger is because your test levels are supposed to be high already, and tribulus(and others) since they are only natural test boosters, its not gonna make it go higher that its naturally capable of. It'll only benefit you if its low.

    I don't know how you guys can be so sure of other peoples' testosterone levels just by knowing their age. I am only just 20, and for the past couple of years my Test has been horribly low. Blood tests show me this, but Doctors don't give a ****. I have no sex drive, impossible recovery from training, **** sleep, ****ed joints, etc. It owns.

    Most herbal ergogenic products are completely bunk these days, either due to crappy low dosage recommendations, **** inactive preparations, or simply straight-up scams using the wrong plant species etc. Certainly things like tribulus, with no supporting studies, and just a bunch of "well I was hornier I think..", doesn't seem like a risk to anyone.

    If anyone is interested, I can offer my exeperiences with Tribulus, Maca, and Horny Goat weed. I had no effects at all, up to many times the recommended dosages (10x or more).

    Very true. Unless you have a lipid imbalance or blood pressure problem, you shouldn’t be neglecting dietary cholesterol. I actually wasn’t including enough animal fats in my diet and started leaning out and getting stronger once I revamped things. My lipid profile is also very good right now, even though I dinked around with SD.

    I don’t really feel as if a herbal test booster is going to do much of anything standalone. I know that PA says people have had great success with things like 6-OXO standalone, but that’s a bit of a different story for purists. And for young bucks like most of us, test boosters just aren’t the way to go about things… you can gain much more strength and mass using other products like herbal hypertropics/NHA’s and other things.

    I told you that you need to see a doctor about this. While some herbal test boosters work well, and work exponentially well when recovering from a cycle, you will NOT know what your testosterone or hormone levels are unless you get blood work done.

    I understand that you feel that your libido is low, energy isn’t up to par and you could possibly need a test boost, but you will only find assurance through a medical professional. No one here can offer you the advice that a quick 30 minute check up in person can deliver. You will thank me once your quells are concerned and low test suspicions are abolished. I don’t mean to pester you, but because I empathize with you and think you really need to find some correct answers. After all this time, you might just be overtraining or perpetually sketching yourself out.

    What if you went to the doc, found out that you indeed have low testosterone and received hormone therapy? That would be a lot safer and a lot more credible than just trying out different herbs and seeing if they make a marginal difference. And it sure would take a load of your shoulders regardless of the results.

    Not trying to preach to ya, man. But if I were your friend in real life, I’d drag you down to the drop in clinic myself lol. Hope that all goes well either way!!

    i am in total agreement with the majority on here if your going to take a booster be extremly careful do your own homework and decide if you really need it or if your just being impatient, you never want to compromise long term health for short term goals, especially for younger men youve got time just stay motivated.
