    House of Pain Question

    Should i have just ordered from Inzer?

    2 wks tomorrow i ordered a inzer single prong belt and it hasnt arrived yet. I did get a conformation from them but no tracking number, just a shipping #. Should i wait till during the week to call/email them? Is this normal due to the holidays?

    Took about 3 weeks to get my belt, although i'm in Oz. Had to ring them and prompt them to email me a tracking number though.

    There are a lot of people that complain about House of Pain, but I got my belt right away, in like 3 days. It may be because it is just after the holidays. I ordered mine in the summer.

    Holy **** that's insane. I've ordered a few times from HoP in the past, and have had good service.

    I don't understand how things like they are allowed to stand...

    I placed my order with HoP on Dec 12th.
    I did not receive said order until Jan 9th...

    Standard black 13mm Inzer lever belt.

    Had I known about the BS going on behind the scenes, I would have ordered elsewhere.

    On the plus side, the belt is awesome!

    To my suprise, i sent them an email sunday, got a reply monday morning stating, that basically inzer is backed up and its rare it takes this long...blah blah blah, its probably gona be a while for my belt to come...

    ordered a belt from inzer the 31st, had it by the 14th, although i am sure it arrived sooner but it was a birthday present so i don't know the exact date

    if you got a standard black belt you inzer should have it in stock almost always

    i would call inzer and ask how many of the style syze and color you ordered are in stock

    For inzer just say you need it right away. I think I got a belt in 3 days from them (shipped same day)
    HOP I never use because I bought a singlet from them and it was hideous. Also the name.

    Why not by from Quest? They carry Inzer stuff and are amazing.

    Order Inzer 2.0 Grippers the first week of December

    Receive 2.0 Inzer Z wraps on December 13

    Call that day and change order to 2.5 Grippers, pay the $8 difference and mail them back at my expense

    Call back January 3rd to check status....2.5 Grippers are out of stock...they are waiting on Inzer

    Called them today and was told they were still out of stock becasue Inzer is out of stock.

    Ask "If I call Inzer right now will they not have the 2.5's"...that is correct sir

    Call Inzer and 2.5's are in stock

    Call House of Pain for a refund but they do not want to refund the original shipping charge

    Call ended by them saying the President of the Company will call me back

    My belt was finally shipped and is coming on tuesday. Since i sent my email ive received literally 3 different emails. They seemed to have a handle on what was going on, UPS was taking a while or some bs. They apologized many times throughout the emails aswell. Prob wouldnt buy from them again...when i order some wrist wraps itll be directly from inzer.

    Sounds like House of Pain is not keeping inventory anymore, which used to be the advantage of ordering from them when they had a more efficient logistics team. This is typical when a company changes ownership - the new owners would probably rather have cash than inventory and since they are a re-seller they are now using their supplier as their inventory, which significantly impacts their ability to deliver for their customers.

    I do not have any first hand experience with HOP but based on the recent reviews I would avoid them and just order direct from Inzer.

    Anyone who has had a negative experience I would try to research who these new owners are and post up some specific contact information here so that people can effectively follow-up to get refunds or expedite their orders being filled. Sam Walton (founder of WalMart) once said "There is only one boss. The customer. And he can fire everybody in the company from the chairman on down, simply by spending his money somewhere else".
