    creatine-HCL vs. monohydrate

any advantages? never really got into creatine and just wondering if the HCL is worth the money. note, i live at home, and work about 30 hours a week. i save half my money for college and the other goes to...uhm..."gardening supplies" so disposable income is disposable.
You are not a fragile ornament ready to collapse into an exhausted mass of goo simply because you squatted more than once in a 7-day week.

It'd be like preparing your entire life to bang 100 chicks in a row, getting tan, hitting the gym, making sure your hair looks right and reading the Kama Sutra, only to realize when you get there that you're gay and cannot get hard in the presence of women.

I had tried con - crete. Micronized doses and no bloat. However, pricey. After cycling off I switched to a generic mono for like $13. Did not experience any bloat, etc. I would say to go mono all the way. It is easily one of the most time tested supplements out there.

Never had any probs with bloat from any form of creatine. Yes, you can absolutely cut on creatine as well as that is a typical question.

ON mono gets the job done. Recommend you put the powder in your mouth and swish water instead of mixing though - stuff doesn't mix for sh!t.

Creatine mono does not cause subcutaneous bloating (unless you have an allergy).

If you're especially paranoid, mix it in warm water, it'll dissolve completely (especially if it's micronized).

While being 100% too lazy to look a single thing up and blah blah blah, don't you have to eat like 3lbs of beef to get the amount of creatine in a 3g scoop/serving?

yes. Note that pug's cut of beef is pretty rare because the more beef is cooked, the less effective creatine it will contain, which means if you eat well done beef, you probably need even more than 3 effing pounds. That being said, nobody on this forum needs 5 grams per day to maintain, as even a person who weighs 250 pounds would need 0.03 g X 113.6 kg = 3.4 grams per day to maintain levels

see a 5g scoop fits my macros easier than 3 pounds of steak. wallet too.

This. You can be as anti-supplement as you want, and in many respects I don't blame you, but I don't see why you'd ever resist buying a dirt cheap monohydrate supplement unless you get steak for some absurdly low price.

this. pure mono hydrate is borderline free.
