how long would it take to gain a inch towards your arms? 1 month?

Some gyms offer an inch per hour of training.

But even then, the rate at which you need to gain weight to gain an inch depends on the present size of the arm, like a differential equation.
For example, you may only need to gain 10 lbs to go from 10 to 11 inch arms, but to go from 24 to 25 inch arms you may need to gain 50 lbs.
Think of it like the relationship between a circle's circumference and it's area; the relationship is not linear. An arm doesn't look exactly like a circle, but close enough for me to make my point.
