Haha thanks guise. And yea other ppl think that bench was bs too but i did get 3 reds so i guess its something they enforce. And i witnessed Shane Church squat 1008, pull 750 and bench 600 sth. I'd never seen a 1000+ squat in real life before it was pretty cool

Improve my total every time I step on the platform.
Being a male is a matter of birth. However, being a "man" is a matter of choice.
Photo in Avi is not current, I'm way fatter now.

Meet update:
Made weight at 129 lbs (no water cutting, woohoo). Got 270/132/308. Way more in me for squat/bench. Underestimated my bench, and had a mishap with my 2nd squat attempt, but overall happy. Getting 710 is a meet total PR regardless, and my DL was an overall PR. Still managed best female lifter too, which was sweet.
Now for a nice long 6 month training period.^_^

I was at the SPF North of the Border meet with a few of my training partners, and Rich Franklin randomly showed up. I guess he knew somebody, but I was a little shocked walking through and seeing him.

And fat. Don't forget fat.

Probably because you actually lift.
It's a lot like Crossfit. It's not the event itself, it's just the people who do it. (At least in my town.)"Nutrition for powerlifting: If you are serious about it, you will eat f*cking everything and get strong as $hit." - HamburgerTrain

gotcha. Whatever gets people off their fatasses and train is a positive thing to me. I have done the Tough Mudder twice myself with people from work, and don't see the big deal behind it.... and it goes to a great cause (wounded warrior), so I don't see any negatives.

I did the Barbarian Challenge back in 2010 up in Georgia and didn't run into any annoying/bad people. But that was 2 years ago so I don't know what its like at those events now.
