Does bench pressing stunt your growth?

I've heard it does, and i've heard it doesn't. Is there any other excersizes besides bench pressing that would do the same muscle groups?
If it makes you that happy, do it. If it's holding you back from obtaining something that will make you happier, drop it.

thats BS. All weight lifting is safe as long as you use correct technique and dont use stupid weight. You may damage your growth plates on yoru bones if you lift too much weight and bad form.
