same here. our who team wears briefs except for our 3-4 raw lifters on DE squat. none of us would be able to keep our form/stay injury free.
Esp with bands, those things can crumple you.
Also, with bands and chains,,,,,, I know alot of westside guys say that by using both methods of accomodating resisitance you can find where your two different sticking points. Have you found through training with both bands and chains that you have one weak point in your squat that you struggle with when the bands/chain load up or 2?

y'know not really, i kind of always have the same sticking point, its like a couple inches off the box/out of the hole my hips lag just a little bit behind my shoulders, and it takes a lot to get them back under me. I think it can be solved with keeping my arch tighter, but I have to do a trade off there in a meet between how hard I can arch in the squat and saving my lower back for the other two lifts.

i took a month off from benching myself a while ago when my sternum craxcked and am dropping my DE day again becaseu my rib pops out of my sternum a lil. what are you doing for an accessory routine? i found alot of improvement with doing lots of tricep extensions, huge sets of shoulder flys and some board work every other week

i generally do two lat movements, one or two tricep movements and a shoulder movement per bench session. although sometimes i drop one of the lat movements if i went really really heavy.
what i've got is basically tennis elbow from benching. there's a couple of things i can do to help balance it so it won't happen again, but I've gotta give it time to heal completely. i've been all go since july 08...so i was bound to hit a wall at some point.*Mods/CS will not, nor can they change your username, so don't ask*

My friends. My family. I ask of you one final time to gather before me.
Tonight we shall leave this earth as legends. Our only way to never die.
This will be our requiem.
In the company of death we walk side by side.
Cast your differences aside for the lives sacraficed.
I ask one final time to unite.
Earn the right to stand with pride.
We are in the company of death.

need a consult with a specialist, EMG and several other things to happen, takes time to get scheduled with those people.
but basically whatever they tell me, I'm gonna ask them; "is this something that a cortisone injection could control well enough for me to bench on the 24th and then treat afterwards?"
if yes: go for broke
if no: token bench time.*Mods/CS will not, nor can they change your username, so don't ask*

its ok...but then again i've taken three session off of benching.
i'm gonna see if I can do some raw work today, probably limit my rom a lot, like 3 board or higher.
if i can...great, if I can't...I'll wait till tuesday and see if a cortisone shot/oral corticosteroid will help. if it does...i'll see what I can do, probably have to open raw.*Mods/CS will not, nor can they change your username, so don't ask*
