Finance vs Nursing

So, I am torn between majoring in Finance vs Nursing. I hear Finance pays a lot more than nursing

In before 1 post
In before people tell me they are two different fields

Nursing:
flexible
work with people
good income

Finance:
pros
100k a year income

flexible hours

As a murse (no homo), i'm obviously going to tell you that nursing is a great career that requires a lot of responsibility. The pay is good depending on where you live.... however, it has to be something you WANT to do...srs.

in any case, this is completely up to you, i.e. they are so different you must have an opinion either way

regarding finance, it's NOT instant money

Your right, I should just settle for working dead end jobs for the rest of my life since I'm too old for college.......

you'd be better off doing accounting and transitioning into finance. Getting a straight up finance job with simply a finance degree is not easy, let alone getting one that pays 100k/yr.

Well, what is the starting salary for a finance major?

however, a lot of the better paying finance jobs require CFA, MBA or other designation that would take extra time after a 4yr degree.

you only need a MS for nurse anethesist/practitioner, both of which get paid pretty well

if you wanna work finance in your state make sure you go to the top public school (or private) school in your state.

if you wanna work finance in a big city then at least try to go to a top 50 school.

But you'll also have to wipe 80 year olds asses among other nasty things for a living.

anyway, i'd choose finance, but keep in mind that unless you go to a very good school and are super dedicated, you won't automatically be making bank

both are terrible jobs, actually. There are no good jobs anymore. Unless you're a rapper or a pro athlete you're gonna be stuck in the "rat race."

I had a fukin professional bodybuilder in my class...and this guy was JACKED..

Plus, it's easy as phuck to get a job as a murse... since you're stronger and all that..
