I'll answer any questions and use a lot pictures.
Rogue R6 Power Rack
notes:
- I ordered Sunday. It came on a pallet the following Friday.
- Very stable, I don't have to worry about it moving after re-racking.
- I love the versatility (there are holes everywhere)
- I love the space inside squat area (43 in x 43). I'm doing box squats inside the rack!
- I love all the pull-up options. Notice I cut the double pull-up bar. Now I have the fat bar in the front and the regular bar in the rear.
- I lowered the top cross members so that the monkey bar clears the ceiling.
- I HATE the long spotter pins (jammed my fingers and never used them again. Maybe I'll use them for rack pulls?)
- I purchased the long safety spotters which I use for just about every exercise (front squat, box squat, bench press, seated shoulder press). They're easier to move and adjust.
- I use chain spotters for Good Mornings and regular squats.
- Not a fan of the dip attachment. I liked the powertec better.
- I have to do over-head press outside the rack.
- Numbered holes would've have been nice.

weighted pull-ups: 100 lb
Yea I'm not a fan of the hampton fusion set or the the red weider plates. But the weider 45 lb plates all weigh 45-46 lbs, whereas the Hampton 45 lb plates are 42-43 lbs. But I don't want to spend the money on new plates looking for a craigslist deal.
Not sure what you mean by all in one fail swoop.
I've been lifting since high school but I didn't know what I was doing, I got serious 2 years ago.
Would love a platform but I don't have ceiling space. It's perfect height for me to do over head press if I add an inch to the floor i'll hit the ceiling. Maybe when I move to a new place.
I just upgraded the rack and got a some new barbells. I had pics of my home gym before:

I've been buying and reselling on craigslist for years, but I don't have the time anymore. I've kept a lot of things and buy new stuff with the profits. I'm definitely down now about 3k or prob more. I'm still a grad student but started work a month ago and bought the rack.

You can't beat the efs signature series military db bench. I dont have the link atm and too lazy to find it on my phone, but I paid mid $400s for mine brand new and shipped, the bench is the best I've ever used for a seated bench.
@jprockjr- nice new gear man, and good pics
EDIT- found the link anyways lol

man i like your gym, im gonna subscribe to this thread (i plan on getting this rack in like 2 years) I love what you did w/ the rack and weight storage when you were "playing around when you assembled it". I never knew you could do that.
It surprises me how many people refuse to buy equipment from Elitefts because its too expensive but they will buy equipment from their competitors, then continue to go on EFS website to educate themselves for FREE

thanks to all comments
It is an Icarian/precor Multi-Purpose Bench 116 ($404 shipped)
http://www.precor.com/products/en/co...pose-bench-116
I ordered the Flat bench 101 and loved it so I went for the utility bench, no complains.
darkfact, got any pics? I like the spotter platform.
yea it's pretty cool but it becomes difficult to load the bar since it's so close to the outer weight storage upright. It's not impossible but not convenient. You could just do everything off the front uprights.Last edited by jprockjr; 04-08-2012 at 09:08 AM.

Awesome. I went into rogue to ask if they had the 6 setup, but they didn't a few weeks ago. I wanted to see if the cross members could be lower.... Of course the retard at the desk said "no" but it didn't believe him. The pics looked like it could be lowered. Now I'm gonna have to get that rack too.
