After the epic meltdown ended I asked him if he learned anything.
He said no.
I don't know what is up with him lately. FULL OUT BAWLS at the drop of a hat.
I think he's looking for attention and taking cues from his little brother.
The thing is, I don't pay attention to 5 year olds who act like 2 year olds.
Negged.
Is it good or bad if you barely make it out of the gym on leg day?DAYUM!!!

Rebecca, that is my life every day. Everything is a MAJOR deal. And he has a major bug up his ass about his brother not getting in trouble as much as he does. And he argues with me over every little thing I tell him to do. Last night I told him that unless the only words out his mouth after I tell him to do something is "Yes, Mom" he was going to start being grounded.
That is one thing Mike never did - talk back. He might plead his case if he thought he was wrongfully in trouble, but he'd be doing it respectfully as he walked to his room to take his punishment. And when he knows he did something wrong, he just says "OK, Mom" and goes to his room. I can't stand the sassing. And I realize it makes me a hypocrite because I sassed my mom my whole life. lol.https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=17995794

I'll just leave this here:
A Canadian man sues a New York coffee shop after suffering what he calls “damage to his manhood”. His penis somehow got pinched between the toilet seat and bowl while he was reaching forward for toilet paper. He is asking for $1 million to compensate for his "dire and permanent" injuries. His wife is also suing for $500,000, claiming her husband cannot perform his marital duties. An Ontario woman who got drunk at an office party and crashed her car has successfully sued her employer for allowing her to drive -- even though her company offered a cab ride or accommodation if she gave up her keys. Linda Hunt, 52, won more than $300,000 in damages and interest from Sutton Group Realty Ltd., of Barrie, Ont., after arguing her boss should have stopped her from driving home in a snowstorm following a 1994 Christmas party." The judge assessed Hunt's damages from the resulting accident at C$1.2 million, but reduced that by three quarters to reflect her own fault in the matter. He "went on to declare it the duty of employers to monitor the alcohol consumption of employees at company functions. The decision is expected to send a chill through offices across the country".A Canadian woman whose 9-year-old son tunneled into an electric sub-station and was badly burned is suing a Manitoba power utility for negligence.
The unidentified boy was one of four children who couldn't get through a locked gate or over a high fence surrounding the transformer on May 29, 2006, so they dug a tunnel beneath the fence, the Winnipeg Sun reported.https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=17995794

True, we have our share of crazies, but the difference is, these proceedings don't go anywhere. Motion for Summary Judgment - there is no cause of action, no triable issues.
And, career litigants (as I call them), can be found to be vexatious plaintiffs, and precluded from instituting any further proceedings in our Courts.
The second case, the Sutton Realty case, is about social host liability. I agree with the decision. And I suspect that following that decision, companies adopted Social Host Liability policies. Most companies have them, and recertify employees prior to events involving alcohol. No drama: You know where we are.

now mama you know your boys are not cookies cut from the same mold. what works with one may not work with another..my first son was my angel baby. I just had to look at that boy sternly when he was young and he would stop what he was doing. If I asked him to do something or to stop doing something? he listened pretty good. Now my youngest? that is a different story..dig his heels in, pout, look at ya like he'd like to kill ya when you are telling him to turn off the tv, do his homework and take your backpack up to your room. He is a whole different ball game and I am constantly trying to figure our new ways to deal with his meltdowns sometimes

In on defending Canadian superiority!!
Are you in the legal field Lisa? You obviously know what you're talking about. (and for the record I agree on the social host liability - there's plenty of steps companies can take to cover their butts against it).

And yes, I believe everyone is welcome here - with or without kiddies.
Quiet here today. I am guessing Harry's Noodists are all snoozing on the couch with turkey hangovers. Colour me dead jealous! No drama: You know where we are.

I went to a nice mall yesterday, Sherway Gardens, and I couldn't believe the deals! 60% off entire store. One cashier said to us, "Oh, we have to compete with the Americans this weekend, and try to keep Canadians up here." I honestly don't know why people are taking the day off of work and crossing the border to shop today. Tons of deals here too!
Funny, I love having our Thanksgiving in October, but gosh I get jelly of the Americans when theirs comes along! No drama: You know where we are.

The discount purchase I am most excited about is a new flavour of protein powder. My mother swears I was switched at birth
Shall we start a petition to institute Thanksgiving #2? I like holidays! Perhaps one in honour of the First Nations and one the settlers... or one French and one English... hmm.training log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=153696161&page=51
