    When squatting...

    1) Should I tighten my core?
    2) Should I try to keep my upper body upright as best as I can?
    3) Is it better to do ATG on all my squats, or only for the lighter lifts and go parallel for the heavier ones?

    I'm currently doing db bicep curls by doing each arm until failure. I usually do about 20 curls with 15lb then another 10-20 with 10lb. Is this an effective way to train biceps, or should I be doing sets? If so, how many would I do and with what weight? I never really understood how sets work. I feel it's the same as just curling non stop. Also, after working out my biceps, is it normal for me to be able to do my whole bicep workout again after 30 minutes or an hour? Does that mean I'm not working out my biceps correctly the first time I do the curls?

    1) Keep your whole entire body tight during the squat. Not just your core.
    2) Depends on whether you are doing high bar or low bar. For high bar you should try to remain more upright. For low bar, some forward lean is expected/encouraged.
    3)Going ATG vs. parallel is personal preference. I don't do ATG because i don't like it. I have friends that love it. Do what you like.

    Bare feet/shoes with a incompressible sole are a lot better than running shoes are a shoe whose soles compress.

    You are doing dropsets. Drop sets are more effective in the heavier weights. You shouldn't be thinking about drop sets until you are curling at least 30 lbs. To do a set pick a weight you can do 8-12 reps with. Do 3 sets of that. A set is doing the reps at a good tempo, resting for 1 minute, and then doing it again. Try to get more reps each time. When you can do more than 12 reps, increase the weight.

    You cannot spot reduce fat. Fat comes off all over your body. To lose fat, eat less calories than you burn with protein high and lifting weights at least 3 times a week. A good pec workout would be decline bench press, or flat bench press at 3 sets of 5-12 reps on a monday/thursday or similar schedule.

    Is it ok to train stomach when you bulk? some guys at the gym tell me that i shouldn't train stomach because i try to gain weight im only 50kg and they tell me all the fat gathers at the stomach and if i train I won't gain weights?!

    My back hurts while doing concentration curls - this is because I'm quite skinny so my back doesn't support the heavy weight pulled to the front well. Would standing dumbbell curls work equally effectively on my biceps? I heard that concentration curls is still the best though

    First of all, is there any way to do machine Military Presses without it arching my back? Every time I go to push the weight up, it arches my back and makes it harder for the weight to go up, even when I try to straighten out.
    Secondly, why is my outer tricep on my left arm closer to my elbow than my left tricep? I can feel the spike on my left arm go down to my elbow, but on my right arm I can't. Also, what can I do bodyweight wise to increase my bench press, and how can I increase my deadlift in a decent amount of time?

    You need some significant size before you can look good cut. Bulk for several months. Eat 500+ over maintenence, and follow SS.

    3 days is fine if youre a beginner and/or have an acceptable amount of volume. What does "obvious" supplement intake mean? Please dont fall prey to supplement companies. You dont need jack sh!t to get jacked.

    Yes. Do not neglect your abs when you bulk. Lift with sufficient volume/intensity, just like you would anything else.

    1. Find a calculator and enter your weight and it should spit out a number. Use google. This number will not be accurate. It will only give you a ball park answer. There will be some trial and error work on your part to figure out where your true maintenance lies.

    2. 500 below maintenance. Really, 1 g/lb bw should be sufficient.

    3. Hanging leg raises. The rectus abdominus is one muscle. You do not work out different parts of it. Thats a common misconception. Hanging leg raises is one of the more functional ab exercises.

    4. Gax-X. Pressure's off.

    5. Well...yeah. Your traps would just suck :P

    6. Barbell complexs. Google it.

    You could try free weight military press. Having said that, generally back arching is due to poor intrabdominal pressure. Make sure you breath into your belly and squeeze your abs tightly. Make sure upper back is tightly contracted.

    Insertions are genetic. You cant do anything about it. Its also possible that your dominant arms tricep just happens to be larger and you mistakenly believe it to be a difference in shape.

    At your age, strength is largely a function of neuromuscular efficacy; therefore, continue deadlifting. Milk linear progression for all you can.

    I'm on a bodybuilding site...and I want a six pack.

    I know I should bulk because if I cut I'll have virtually no muscle. But...six pack abs have been my dream goal! (Plus I want to look good by the time summer comes around.)

    I know this isn't much of a question but I'm in a dilemma right here! Btw, my stats are:

    Height: 5"6'
    Weight: 137.6
    Body fat: IDK but I attached front flexed and relaxed pic

    What do you guys think I should do/What is the most realistic option for me? (Maybe cut until I can see my abs and then start a clean bulk?)

    1) Does whey powder like muscle tech nitro tech contain enough BCAAs for a successful cut without losing too much muscle mass?
    2) Is it better to take caloric creatine powder like muscle tech cell tech (350 cal serving) over traditional creatine?
    3) Based on my profile picture height of 6'2 and weight of 200lbs should i cut or bulk first?

    You have genetics to be aesthetic, but you need more size. If you cut to where you can see abs then clean bulk, you will still most likely lose them. Just clean bulk now.

    1. There are BCAA's in whey, but free form BCAA's operate a little differently then BCAA's in your whey. But you dont need any supplement period, to have a successful cut.

    2. No. The extra calories are always sugar. Just get regular creatine mono.

    3. Looking at your prof pic, Id say cut.

    1. Glutamine is not a BCAA. Leucine, isoleucine and valine are only BCAA's. Extra supplemental Glutamine is next to useless.

    2. You have WWWAAAAYYYY too many supplements. Dude, scale that sh!t back. Seriously, Id cut out everything except the multi, and the protein. For the love of god, get rid of the cell tech. BRB, piss ton of sugar.

    1.Whats the best calorie tracker website/app (would prefer a droid app cause its convenient)?
    2.Is an IIFYM diet only for cutting, or could i use it for a bulk too?
    3.Could you give me an estimation of my maintence intake? 5'10 145 pounds around 9% bf, workout 3-4x week and track season is starting which is 5x week and the sprinter workouts are similar/based on HIIT workouts.
    4.It's fine to eat in smaller amounts spread across the day if you have trouble taking in large amounts of food at one sitting right? Often times ill get full quickly, but also be hungry again within half an hour.
