How does flat bench press effect upper chest?

Is there any kind of separation like 70% lower chest and 30% upper? because when I bench I get my upper pumped also.

it depends on your arch, grip width and anatomical make up. alot of people like decline pressing and dips, give that a shot.
If what I see does not amaze me, I am not looking hard enough.

The more you learn, the more you realize you don't know.

It depends on the person, their grip width, where they bring the bar, and their "groove" (no 70's).

A shallow rib cage, relatively, will net you more upper pec because of the angle of pull on the chest fibers.

A more narrow grip tends to hit more upper pec due to the angle of travel of the elbows.

Lowering to the upper pecs will make the upper chest contract in a more straight line.

And if you draw the bar back toward your face, you will hit more upper pec.

That's what you said the last time you left.
Bodybuilding is 60% training and 50% diet. Yes that adds up to 110%, because that's what you should be giving it. Change the inside, and the physique will follow.
