Ima go with the crowd and say Flat BB Bench, a combo of incline and decline is better IMO.
Also as was mentioned above I don't like how people think squats are a full body lift and say they will put on mass everywhere.- Gym over everything Beta Crew

Low bar squat, conventional deadlift, and flat barbell bench. For bodybuilding, that is.
Of those, flat barbell bench might be the "best" for that purpose though, IMO. As part of a comprehensive program, before someone insists on going down that path, lol.
But for similar lifts, I would instead choose high bar squatting (fronts, if preferred), SLDL (or RDL, perhaps), and DBBP. Plus a plethora of other things.Last edited by MichaelCJ; 01-26-2013 at 05:50 PM.

Max effort leg pressing. I never see people do this correctly. Overloading the sled with plates, to push them a few inches with hands on knees. What a bunch of bullsh*t.

The deadlift is not overrated. I do believe it is the king of exercises, over the squat - but the deadlift doesn't have that same aura as the squat. It isn't prepped up as the exercise you need to do 3 times a week in order to build a good body like squats are. I'd say the most overrated exercise in general is the flat bench with a barbell though.

curls probably. everything else such as bench, deadlift, squat when performed well will give you great value. curls seem to stop giving after a while. rather do chins, rows, etc. arms are always getting thicker on those.
i just hate seeing people start a pull day with curls and not realising how much theyre affecting their rows, pulls, etc.
