Is Muscle Milk a good Post-Workout Shake?

I am going to grab a tub of protein just for my post workout shake during the cutting.

I like MM because it has a high amount of carbs (18) which is needed for your post workout. It has a good level of fats which is needed, not necessarily for a pwo shake, but just healthy in general.

I would be mixing it with 2% milk, so the carbs will come to about 35g which is the recommended amount for me for pwo.

Is there any other protein powders that may be better than MM for post workout and has the carbs and amazing taste?

Not really. You dont cut at 300 calories lol.

I will be eating around 1700-1800 calories. Plus, a proper post workout shake is vital.

Think about it, you need a high amount of carbs for your post workout shake (varies by your own weight). For me its roughly 35g. So ofcourse you are going to have a shake that is high in calories. Thats not a bad thing.

No benefit to drink a pure 100% protein, 0% carb, 0% fats shake. Your body needs the other nutrients. Especially post workout.

With MM, you could probably due without the fat but it still has a good profile and the fat still has its benefits.

Are you asking whether Muscle Milk is a good choice, or trying to educate as to why it's such a brilliant choice?

uhm yes it is, Plus MM is great PWO for people with fast metabolisms and seeing that most normal people who workout need to have a meal after they workout MM has fast digesting fats and carbs needed to Replenish what you just burnt off after a hour or two at the gym. Don't hate on MM because you "think your a scientist" ive droped 60lbs due to the fat burners in MM whatsss up?!?!?!

The timing of your protein shake does not make a significant difference. I would just take it after a workout though.
