I need to restock on protein soon and i am debating which one to buy. i am finishing up on my combat powder. i have tried both of these products , but wanted opinions on what i should get for post workout. i want to start taking creatine which i will mix with post workout shake. all opinions are welcome and please tell me if mixing the creatine with it is a waste or not. thanks.

MusclePharm Combat Powder or Gold Standard 100% Whey?

Of those two, Combat Powder, but if you're open to other suggestions, XF UP 2.0, Trutein, or Myofusion.
And it's fine to mix your creatine in.

I'm on my second tub of Combat. Got it for cheap, so I can't really complain too much. Myofusion will be my next protein blend though.
Not a bad protein, but Myofusion's profile looks a bit better.

Whey Gold Standard by far the best protein shake IMO

Ya if you don't care about taste opt for your cheapest price/serving protein powder. Dymatize is a cheaper brand, but I was never a fan of their taste. Protein is protein and it is ultimately about hitting your macro numbers, but I can state I've had excellent results from Combat's formula. I personally go for Recon post workout then opt for a whole food meal consisting of around 45/45/10 carbs, protein, and fats about 30-45 minutes later.

Go with Combat Powder it is the best profile between proteins, with the added BCAAs.

Ideally a whole food meal would follow a postworkout product when you get home from gym. Personally I take recon at the gym after workout then take a protein shake at home when I get home (my next whole food meal is about 2 hours after my protein shake so its not too far off). As for a whey protein I like ON or scivation, for a protein blend I gotta go with combat.

Yes, like we said before protein is protein. I would not suggest a post-workout product for a 16 year old, but instead opt for the protein product of your choice (I believe you said you did not care about taste, therefor opting for the lowest price/serving protein powder) and mixing in your creatine monohydrate with your post workout shake. If you enjoyed the blend and slow sustained release of Combat you could opt for that again with the addition of some cheap creatine powder to the mix, which I feel would be beneficial at your age. But, judging from your posts I would suggest a cheap protein such as Dymatize or even Sport Pharma.

I would say you can't go wrong with either ON or MusclePharm protein as both companies are very reliable and have great products.
