fuarkkk i'm on normal and merveil last act 1 boss is fuarking impossible as an elemental templar. shiet cuzz how do I do it? tried to kite and kill with fireballs/firestorm, but I don't even do enough dmg to get through her energy shield then. tried to go upclose with wand whacking, but i just died before I even managed to get her below 80%.

You need enough cold resistance gear for merveil, you can get one of the rings from the woman in town..cold res makes merveil much easier.

ya got 2 resist rings and camped my town portal and went back like 5 times during the fight, was gay as fuk and took me like 3 runs through her dungeon(apperantly kunts reser if u die) to figure it out

my damage is so low feelsbatman, currently an elemental templar and i use firestorm/fireball/ dat lightning chit when u block wondering, should i continue to a wand build or just standard lightning strike? where do i even get lightning strike haven't even gotten the chance to get it from quests/drops

You need more health, and make sure you are using the right pots. Use 3 health pots if you are running low on health but not mana first etc. Use the orb that turns normal items into rares on those CR rings, may get some joocy health as well on it. Make sure all your items are the best they could be. Try to dodge her attacks better.

No computer at the moment so I haven't had a chance to look at this game in depth, but what do you guys think about a frost summoner witch with chaos inoculation? Perhaps a nice evade % as well, somehow?

playing shadow atm (looking at Cl claw or dagger build) and just started act 2 - all bosses have been pretty easy (just fire trap kite and spam whirling blades in out) except for that totem kataku thing which was retardedly hard for some reason

shadow is ridiculously fun to play and this has been one of the funnest games ive played in a while, gonna get some friends to join and powerlevel them through

I've had fun with my shadow but ran into survivibility issues, not sure what to do about that. Might have to reroll and go for some more defensive nodes.

This would be so much easier if we had a group channel option in game, option to make a misc guild/clan or if we had a voice server like mumble or some chit.

Anybody know how much it costs to run a mumble/ts3/vent server? would consider making one if it is a decent price.

I'd definitely go with mumble. I haven't looked around in a while, but I've seen mumble server hosting as low as free for 5 users, and around $1 a month for a little bit more. I'll see what I can find looking more later.

Just downloaded last night. Game looks sick.

I usually play casters, so I'm thinking I'll go either shadow or witch. Is the only difference their affinities (witch being int, shadow being hybrid) or can anyone else point out some differences that I might want to consider before choosing one or the other.

Got this dropped last night... Is it just me or is this some total niche build stuff? Free Blood Magic, but 100% increased mana cost makes you lose health fast, and the spell dmg bonus and strength bonus? I was like wat...

I used firestorm spam & skeleton distraction on merveil with my witch..took quite a while and I had a lot of extra fire dmg nodes..When I was running with a templar I had a melee skill in use and some cold res, and back then I slaughtered merveil easy, also it is good to put a tp in the lair so you can return if you died..

They make it so you have to decide if you want the benefits as well as the drawbacks. makes the legendaries not overpowered. I like it.

I like that system. Making meaningful decisions is part of what makes a good game great. Much better than the other side of the coin, where you always know what item is better and there is no cost/benefit ratio to be weighed(like dat dere D3 where you just keep upgrading main stat, crit, crit dmg)

You actually want it? Uhh I'm looking for a good ES/Spell Damage shield or wand with 40%+ spell damage that are above item level 20.. if you have anything like that.

I'm also looking for Flicker strike, I could trade it for that.

I say we do this. All miscers who pitch in can be admins on there, and of course have right to be on the server if it gets full, then everyone else can use it as they like.
