I recorded it. Will watch tonight. I would imagine they are just setting the stage for the final episodes to come. It will be fun to watch Spartacus go head to head vs. Crassus as well as Gannikus vs. Ceasar.

Yep, it's dragging. The ending was alright but not that great. Hopefully things start moving faster in the following episodes.

Watch the first and second season John, waaaaaaaaay better. This new season (and last one) are not as good or even close to the first two.

Or you could leave the room or close your eyes during those parts...that's what my husband does.

I like that this season it seems as though the rebels might be getting a bit out of control.... There've been more than a few parts where I actually felt for some of the Romans.

You've got to post what event first makes you shout "Cawk in ass" out loud !! That's when you know you've gotten addicted.

I seriously was up till 3am watching neflix episodes when I first watched it. I'd have to wait until kids were in bed and then I'd be hooked for hours.

Yeah, the language is so funny sometimes. "Once again the gods have seen fit to put cawk in ass!!!" when something goes wrong. Or someone will yell, "Jupiter's cawk!" when angry. LOL

Agreed with others here; skip the DVR forward to avoid seeing cawks in Hi-Def... lol. And absolutely watch the first two seasons. They were MUCH better than this one has been so far.

Liam McIntyre will never be no Andy Whitfield, but he's starting to grow on me. He lacked poise Previous season,which is something he has seemed to find this season.

Finally got to see the first episode and yeah, Crassus is pretty badass. Given that he was the one to end the rebellion I guess they wanted to make him more of an honorable adversary than a Glaber-style villain.

Oh and I like the hot man on man action. After all, there was plenty of sexy girl on girl stuff for the lads to leer at - what's sauce for the goose and all that.

So after watching the one episode and reading how good everyone thought this series is I decided to down load the completed seasons. I have a question though. From what I read it seems that the second season is a prequel to the first one, so the question is, should I watch the prequel first or watch them as they were released? I prefer watching the 2nd season first as it all falls into place. But I did not do that the first time I started watching it on netflix and I already knew the characters. But IMO watching this way (2nd season first) makes more sense.

Well by jupiters Cawk I started the 6 episode prequel tonight. 2 down and about to watch #3, I must say its pretty damn good. So far there's been a boatload of nudity, violence and course language, not to mention a guy getting pissed on as a final insult to a good beating. My kind of show so far!

I got through all 6 this weekend! Really enjoyable, watched the first episode of blood and sand as well. Glad I watched the prequel first.

We're a little behind you in the UK - just saw the episode with the pirates. Now I understand why one of the posters wants Naevia dead. Jesus Christ, woman has issues. I know she was horribly abused and is traumatised but she has become worse than the Romans she despises.
They've done a pretty good job of making Crassus look like the more sympathetic character in this.

Watch the next episode and sympathy might not be a word you ever associate with Crassus again. I will however say that I feel as though his character is honorable. This past episode felt particularly brutal.

I started watching Spartcus last week after watching all five seasons of Sons of Anarchy......which I loved. Just finished Season 1. Starz On Demand has all three season but it's missing episode 1-3 of Spartacus: Gods of the Arena. I'll start season 2 tonight. So far, I'm hooked.

Well my Sky (satellite provider) guide says something about Crassus resurrecting an old punishment in the next episode so I'm guessing crucifixion (don't give it away though!) but I guess he has a reason to be p!ssed given what happened to his son. Looking forward to it in any case.
