i don't mind going to shows alone. if the music's good, the music's good and concerts are an excellent place to meet like minded people. and if you don't wanna talk to anyone, i could think of a lot worse things than having a few beers and seeing a band you like

you will not regret going alone. i've met so many friends and shows....many that i travel to shows with now. i like most of them better than my real life friends

The worst part about shows/festivals is the first day back to real life. Every part of me wants to hit rewind and go back to dancing/raging/alp the fun stuff that comes with

Just a Lyle McDonald style, eating at maintenance break. I'm just going to eat more of everything since I'm not really resticting myself in what I eat, I just want bigger portions. Minus Thanksgiving...that'll be the last day before getting back into the groove and all bets are off.

on weekends i try not to, i eat like a 200 calorie snack, work out (or dont if there's some plan for the am/early afternoon) then have a massive dinner and booze in the evening.

Nah, I should have put Lyle McDonald full diet break in my OP. If I didn't track my intake it would be a mess. I'd eat way under or way over and ruin my progress. I just don't have that instinctual eating ability and require technology.

i was ready to let this girl make an honest woman of me last night. friend of a friend, met her at the show, seen a million pearl jam shows, cute as hell, lives 30 blocks north of me.....so i'm grilling my friend after the show over a beer and she drops the "yea she had to bounce early because of her boyfriend" and its like FUUUUUUU

I go to 15-20 shows alone every year it's no big deal at all. Definitely agreed that you meet tons of people you instantly have something in common with.

It's unfortunate but I'm in the minority being 27 and completely obsessed with 30 + year old rock bands (Rush, Thin Lizzy, Deep Purple, Priest, UFO, etc. etc.) it's hard to get anyone to go with me. I actually found someone who is obsessed with UFO and going with him and his friend to a show next week though.......my friends 60 year old dad lol
