Is it ok to not shower right after the gym? Sometimes I wait a few hours after the gym to shower. I have been getting more acne on my arms in the past few weeks, do you guys think this is the reason?

That's not acne that is a rash from the sweat. If you're not near a shower after the gym, at least take off your shirt or anything that is wet on your body. TBH dont be lazy and just take a friggin shower. I've had a rash around my neck for a while...it just went away. My excuse is that I have to walk from my gym back home.

your "science" is incorrect.
Eating certain foods can cause shifts in hormanal balances, thus causing your body to attempt to rid itself of harmful bacteria created from extra hormone secretion. You're body uses the pores on your face to rid this bacteria, which can lead to sebaceous glands over working and pimples to form.

I usually notice acne issues when I "perspire" a lot at the gym - especially when I'm incorporating cardio or something that would provoke sweating. I try to shower immediately afterwards, which I've noticed usually helps prevent breakouts.
Perhaps try incorporating a loofah or something of the sort that exfoliates your skin?Waging war against misinformation!

MAKE SURE YOU SHOWER.
or at least wash your face. i used to keep getting acne, but then i realized that it had to be from the gym, as it hadn't happened before.
get some acne wash and always wash your face after. better yet, take that shower.
i just wish i knew before i got acne scars on my face. thank god its not very noticeable.

My guess it is, the sweat and minerals in it is probably clogging your pores leading to acne. Personally, I wear boarder shorts in the gym so I always shower afterwards anyway, hate leaving the gym feeling dirty and sweaty.
If you don't shower after the gym anyway, at least rub yourself down with a towel to remove the sweat, minerals and dead skin cells.
