Since you insist on prodding at my politics, I'll share mine with you. I dislike immensely the republican party's stance on social issues and lean libertarian/liberal on social policy meaning if it doesnt hurt anyone it should be legal, I however agree with the root of fiscal conservatism. I despise the democratic party's stance on spending and personal responsibility but applaud (in some areas) the promotion of some personal freedom to let people make their own good/bad decisions. Depending on the state of the nation and issues on the table I could vote for either party.

I dont press or argue my opinion as it is well founded and learned through my life experience, I'm not here to convert or judge, as long as everyone is civil I dont care.

It's a pretty big step forward in something I feel should be decriminalized, and then further legalized.

This has the potential to turn into a big drama fest if Colorado collects Taxes from it, and then the Government says "No, this is illegal".


Edit: @ Iceman, there will be an undeniable shift to <50 employees, and even further a big shift to keeping employees at 30 hours/week.

Yup. Pretty much summed up my political views. Always felt like Democrats should target their spending into regulating/fixing current social programs so that abuse is less frequent. That seems to always be the target of attack when it comes to those areas. But blank check politics needs to go, as does any law/act that prevents people from their own stupidity.

Ohh, I get what you mean now. Current system: No way to recoup those losses effectively besides raising prices across the board for healthcare. Other system: These losses are already accounted for in insurance premiums so the hospital doesn't take a loss, and pass the cost onto paying customers.

How do we know if the increase in medical costs isn't less or equal to the cost of an increase in premiums across the board?
